As a werewolf who had grown up in human society, Adrien never felt like he truly belonged. Adrien will have to make a tough decision: continue to feel as if part of him is missing or leave everything he’s ever known to find himself. As he starts out on the next stage of his life, he finds exactly what he had been looking for: a pack to join and new friends. But he ends up with more than he bargained for when he finds himself head over heels for a dark and handsome local weretiger by the name of Jasper.

*** Omega Adrien wanted freedom, and the knowledge a "pack" could provide. *** Raised by a wolf Dad and human Mom, he longed to be a pack member. So, he dropped out of college and hit the road, where he found one, was accepted, and began his adventure. Happiness is a pack ! He worked hard and at a town event met Alpha Jasper. Jasper is a drummer, and shop owner, black Mohawk, pierced and has beautiful amber eyes. Adrien can't tell Jasper is a tiger shifter. They are drawn to each other, and it should have been a one-night-stand, but neither could forget the other. Adrien... Problem: their packs do not get along, and Adrien's lack of pack mentalities can't understand why, but he's learning. This is nearly a Romeo and Juliet beginning, so well written and fun. These two men are smoking hot when they get together. Great sexy times ! We get a HFN, happy for now ending, but I want more. I didn't find anything on whether this is a series. I can be satisfied with their secret love. Wonderfully told tale of forbidden longing. ENJOY !!!
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review. There were a lot of great things about this book: the characterization of Adrien and Jasper, the courtship between the two, and the sexy sequences. What disappointed me though, was the way that the end leaves some questions unanswered. This a Romeo and Juliet story in a town where the tiger and wolf shifters literally get along like cats and dogs. A lot is made of this with a big buildup and a number of confrontations. Working around the taboo has them finding secret ways to talk and meet and lets us see a real development to the relationship. Where I was disappointed was the ending. I felt like we were just getting to the point where there was going to be a dramatic crisis, a relationship obstacle or any number of kinks, twists, or turning points, but, instead, the story just wraps up quickly. I really enjoyed the story but just thought that there was going to be more. This is a standalone so I know my questions won't get answered and assume that the happy-for-now turns into a happily-ever-after.
I really really loved this book. It's nice to finally read a stand alone, and this one was so cute and irresistibly heartwarming. It was well written, which made it very easy to become totally engaged with this story. Adrien was such a cutie and the way he went after Jasper was just adorable. He was such a persistent little fella which had me cracking up at times. Usually books have a bit too much grief and conflict for me and not enough happy moments. It was a relief and real pleasure to read about the happy moments these two experienced during their risky bit of time shared together. I didn't want anything to separate them, ever, but that's just me. :) It was especially cute when they rolled around together in their animal forms. I truly enjoyed this book!
I liked the werewolves vs tigers shifter aspect of this, and I did enjoy the characters and story. I wish there had been more of a definite HEA, unless there is another book coming out? I thought Adrien and Jasper were sweet texting each other and getting to know each other.
This was a great story, and I hope that we have many more books in this world! It's such an interesting concept having a werewolf raised by a family that has rejected being shifters so that Adrien is fully comfortable with being a shifter, but has no real understanding of shifter culture. Then to pair him up with Jasper, who is the son of the tiger alpha, raised on ask of the traditions of shifters was just awesome.
It was pretty good. I didn’t really like the pack dynamic that he got with the new pack he joined and that that Jasper was so indecisive about them being together but not being able to stay away. I neede a better ending to their relationship as well.
Nice, but there was way too much not resolved between the packs. I know the story wasn't about the packs, it was about Jasper and Adrien, but I felt there should have been more there.
I enjoyed this title a lot more than I expected to. I read the reviews first and the reference to Romeo + Juliet (which imo is one of the dumbest stories). and an inconclusive ending made me hesitant. I shouldn’t have been.
I really enjoyed this story and it was a refreshing two sides of the tracks tale. I can’t say much more without giving things away. But it was really sweet and am enjoyable read. :)
POSSIBLY SPOILERISH???? BELOW - but not specificly.
you’ve been warned.
This is NOT a sweeping story about two sides bringing their worlds into one unified whole where everyone lives happily ever after.
IT IS. the story of a guy leaving everything he has ever known to make the life he wants for himself. (Joining a pack). But he soon realises that a downside of his pack is a prejudice that he has no desire to adopt... so he simply doesn’t.
He sees the one he/his wolf want and he goes for it.
The story is about the two discovering each other, deciding if they are going to settle for pack rules or allow their own hearts and convictions to guide them.
The story isn’t about making the world around them for their relationship but rather about making their relationship strong enough and solid enough to weather whatever their packs and the rest of the world choose to drag them through. I actually really liked that it was left the way it was bc it’s more realistic. No matter how hard a couple tries, they can’t always make others accept or even tolerate them. Look at interracial couple and same sex couples (both of which have at times been against the law and been punished with death and/or horrible beatings.). It’s heartwarming to read stories where everything ends perfect and the world is oober accepting but that’s not so common in reality. I’m getting the impression that Mr. Harris tends to allow for harsh reality in his stories. He doesn’t hide from the fact that death, prejudice, hate, war, etc are a part of life and he seems to show such realities respect in his writing. It give his stories a very human touch. This story is no different. The point was the love between the two and if they would choose each other along with the consequences.
OK REAL SPOILER BELOW
Also someone mentioned feeling like a big conflict was about to happen near the end and was then just ignored. - Um it wasn’t ignored. It is mentioned that tensions were high and both packs were being extra cautious but it was also said that that was normal after any neg interaction between the two. Like a precautionary tension and that things would settle back to where they were as long as everyone behaved. Which both packs seemed to be making sure they did.
The tension is important bc of course there would be a reaction after the conflict earlier and it was limiting the couples access to each other. But it’s also explained as a non-issue in the bigger picture so it’s not really a loose end.
Two packs, two lovers, and their are suppose to be rivals. Adrien, a new wolf in town and first time in a pack, raised by human, met Jasper, the drummer for the band playing at the concert. Unfortureally Jasper was a tiger.
Some of Adrien's new pack members went to the concert that Jasper was playing at and his best friend, Daniel and Daniel's boyfriend, Jack pushed Adrien to go, and he finally gave in. Daniel wanted Adrien to have a good time and find a man to kiss and be with for the night, but that wasn't the type of person Adrien was.
So on a dare from Daniel, Adrien was to turn to the next guy that entered the bathroom and get him to kiss him. Well, low and behold it was Jasper and Adrien got more than the kiss he want and spent the night in a hotel room together.
It took a lot of guts for Adrien to persue the man who had captured his heart so quickly and risk everything because they were considered emenies. But with time the two met in secret and enjoyed what they had become to one another. Though both knew how dangerous it was, it didn't matter when it came to the love they shared.
It felt as Mr Harris wrote a complete book then split it in half and published the first half as a standalone. It didn't feel so much as a cliffhanger but more like incomplete. I enjoyed the premise of the story so would like to see where it is going. I was a bit put off by the alpha's indecisiveness, which was not very alpha-like, while the omega was a persistent feisty little thing, which was very cute and heartwarming. A bit more could have been done on setting the scene, i felt i didn't know much about the host pack.
I am a big fan of Noah’s writing and at this point t I don’t read the description. With that in mind this book took an interesting plot. In all the other books from Noah that I’ve read, there was no animosity between different shifters. This plot on the other hand as a “Romeo and Juliet” feel to it.
Unlike most of Noah’s books there wasn’t much 🌶️ but that is ok. The plot was nicely paced with just enough 🌶️ to give the impression of a growing romance without being over the top.
The story is good, both MC have good character which develeloped during the story well. But it seems author lost interest in completing the story. She just left it in the mid and didnot finish the story. It was my first book of Noah Harris. I saw some other books of Noah which looks interesting but I am afraid to read them, thinking it could also be non finished Novella.
This is the type of shifter story I really like. You have two different types of shifters. Adrian is an omega wolf and Jasper is an alpha tiger. Then you add to that the fact that they are from feuding packs. I'd love to see more from this story. There's so much you can do with it.
No Regrets is a sweet romance between Adrien, a wolf shifter and Jasper, a weretiger. I wouldn't mind reading more from this world, because sure Adrien and Jasper decided to be mates at the end, but just between themselves. That ending doesn't feel complete. I hope we will get a sequel someday!
It was an okay read but I can't help but feel something was missing. well I know what but I just don't want to spoil it for anyone reading this particular story. Kind of a cliffhanger for me.
The writing and storyline was good. This book could've been a novel; it had the potential. I just found it a little lacking because it just seemed like something was missing with how abrupt it ended.
I like the story plot of the book and I like both main characters. What, I don't like is the unfinished story and to open ending. Even so, Author "Noah Harris" wrote pulling story plot.
Adrien and Jasper are adorable!!! When I think omega, I think submissive. What I liked about this story was that although Adrien is an omega and Jasper is an alpha, Adrien is very persistent, tenacious, and doesn't meekly accept the submissive role. It is actually Adrien who pursues Jasper instead of the alpha pursuing the omega. It is super cute! Another thing I loved is that it's shifters from different packs - Adrien a werewolf and Jasper a were-tiger. Their packs live close to each other but there is a rivalry going on between them. Think Romeo and Juliet but without the tragedy.
I’m a fan of werewolves, and I recently read an ebook where one character was a hybrid wolf and tiger shifter. So to have the two love interests be one each a wolf and tiger shifter in this story seemed interesting enough to give it a shot. Honestly, I didn’t make the connection to the cats and dogs idea until the story itself made the joke.
This is probably best described as a New Adult story in terms of the age of the main character Adrian. He’s on his own for the first time and finding out about himself in terms of how to fit into pack structure and what he wants from love.
Adrian is a little innocent and certainly naïve to the ways of pack. He might even by shy, but he’s no push over. The story starts slowly in establishing the character, and then things pick up when he goes to a concert with his friends Daniel and Jack. At the concert, Adrian sees and eventually meets Jasper, the very sexy tiger lover interest.
Adrian’s mood takes a nose dive after an incredible one night stand. He believes that he and Jasper have something worth pursuing, if only he could actually find Jasper and talk to him about it. When he eventually does find Jasper, he pursues him with dogged determination. (Yes, I had to make the joke.)
Because this is a romance, Jasper eventually gives in by degrees. It’s not easy for him because he was raised in a pack structure, and he adheres to those rules more stringently than Adrian who is new to the idea of pack.
The story isn’t a long one. It takes the reader from first meeting Adrian to Jasper’s first real acceptance that they are dating each other. There will be consequences that we don’t get to see, and that is probably why some reviewers considered this incomplete. I think that this is a natural stopping point even though the author could have definitely written more.
Because I listened to this as an audiobook, I have a few things to point out about the performance. I really liked some of the things the narrator did while disliking others. For example, I didn’t care for his character voice for Jasper at all. His Adrian character voice was enjoyable, and he handled emotional scenes quite well. His character voice for Daniel was great, and he got to do some fun things with him such as acting drunk or using a hiding voice while he was stalking Jasper for Adrian.
I won’t say the narrator is inconsistent or unskilled because clearly he is very skilled. I just didn’t care for all the performance choices he made, but it averages out with the things I did enjoy.
Bottom line: This story is for those who like mm romances, shifter romances, or sweet heroes who get their man. It is a light story for those times when that’s what you want to read.

*** I was provided this book free of charge for a fair and honest review ****
A modern retelling of a Romeo and Juliet type feud between families with some twists. One - the waring "families" are actually shifter packs (tigers and wolves) and two Romeo and Juliet are actually two men named Jasper and Adrian.
This books starts off with Adrian finding his way in the shifter world as he had grown up in the human world with his shifter father and human mother. He gets accepted into a pack after being on his own for a while and starts settling into shifter life.
One night he's out and meets a super hot drummer named Jasper and the two have one night together. Then Adrian finds out what Jasper is (a tiger) and that he can't see him again because of some feud that is never really explained.
So I really liked the premise of this story but the execution was a little choppy. We get no back story on Jasper, not much on Adrian and the the reason the two packs hate each other is never explained. Adiran pursues Jasper ( in a kind of stalkery way) and the two meet up to hook up whenever they can (which is not covered much.) They meet in animal form one full moon, run together and then spend the night together and then it's over. So it looks like a HFN but nothing feels like it happened or is resolved.
I just wish there had been more.. it felt like the story was just starting and then it was over.
LOVE is LOVE - M/M -You don't have (but you should) to read it just respect that I did. Thank You.
3.5 Shifter Star's I want more! More! More!
We meet Adrien, who has grown up in the human world. His mom is human and his father is werewolf. For the most part Adrien seems happy, But I got the sense he wanted more and yep he moved out to find a pack. He finds a pack and they take him in, he happens to be an Omega. The pack takes him out to get to know someone, the first meeting between Jasper and Adrien is so funny, I loved it.
Only finding out after a night hot steamy roll in the sheets that his shifter is a Tiger shifter. And there is a feud going on between the packs. But neither can stay away from each other.
I loved this story of want what you can't have and fight anyway to get it. Also lets admit the cover is HOT.. The scenes are HOT. And I want more of this story! This is not the second book I have listened to by this author it won't be the last!

I love a good shifter story, but this one really didn't work for me. It is very Hatfield and McCoy -- as the wolves and tigers don't like each other. So the MC do some sneaking around to have sex and admit they like each other. There is a little character development, but not much. Then it just ends, very abruptly. I can't even say it was a HFN, it just stopped. Unless there is another book with this couple in the future, I wouldn't bother. The narrator does OK job with what he is given.
This was a great read! I so enjoyed the teasing, banter and emotional connection between Jasper and Adrien right from the start. The shyness Adrien experienced at first , he decided, would not stop him from seeing where their connection could lead them. Very well written. Very entertaining to the point that I didn't want to put it down til I was done. Well done!! Highly recommend!
I can't give it more than 3 stars. I really liked the book and the secret love a bit Romeo and Juliet style. And it was all going so good and .... The end. Give me a chapter or two more, or a nice epilogue. It could had earned another star easy. But I was like sitting with the "is that it" feeling when the book ended and that's not good.
If we should get a continuation, my rating will go up to the 4 stars the book should have received, but were cut down to 3 after the rapid and inconclusive ending. Altough it seems like nothing is planned yet, I'm still hoping ^-^ (And not just for this Noah Harris book...)
I loved this book. The relationship between the leads Adrian and Jasper was potentially doomed from the start, only Adrian's persistence could overcome Jaspers reluctance and the pack hatred. Great combination of wolf and tiger! This would make a great series.
