"Vishnujana Maharaja had a very special and prominent role in the divine plan, and he still does. His memories, his tapes, and the example he gave upon leaving this world, is a very loud kirtan that is still going on and is heard by sincere devotees throughout the world. He was expecially empowered.
One of the greatest remembrances I have of him was how he loved the devotees, how he glorified the devotees, and how he saw Prabhupada's mercy coming through each devotee. That is the most important position, to create that spirit of love and trust. Without that our movement will not spread as Prabhupada wants it. Vishnujana Maharaja was very simple. He was uncomplicated, unpretentious. He wore very simple cloth, and he was the friend of everyone. He saw everyone as his godbrother and godsister and he didn't want to hear anything else about them. When I knew him, that was all he would ever reveal to me and I'm eternally indebted for that."
