This book is an in-depth study at the life of Christ. It proves that He was not just a helpless man who had come to the earth destined to die on the cross. He could have stopped His fate at any time, but something kept Him moving toward His destiny. In order for Calvary to occur, Jesus actively manipulated the entire landscape around Him. Like pawns on a chessboard, He moved the Pharisees, Sadducees, Romans, and high priests. Every day, Jesus made active choices that led Him to the cross. Calvary was no accident, for Jesus caused it to happen on purpose. That's how much He loved His people.

After reading this book, one can never again question the authority of Christ on the earth or the love with which He loved. One will have an understanding that Jesus' entire life was a sacrifice, not just the week that led up to His crucifixion.
