Castle View #2

Roadside Attraction

Rate this book
One is tied to home by commitment and responsibility, the other is running from those same ties. Can they find common ground or will their attraction be just one more memory from the road? When he walked into her bar, Maggie Castle decided to have a little fun. For once. But once Josh got into her bed, he also climbed deep into her heart. Something Maggie wasn’t expecting. Josh thought he was in town for a rest stop. He didn’t expect to like the small mountain town so much. To like the owner of the Tiger Café, so much.

Sweet Hearts is the second book in the Castle View series set in northern Idaho. The roaring tigers at the sanctuary, breathtaking mountain scenery and complicated family ties makes Castle View the place you want to visit, time and time again.

I obtained this free e-book from Amazon and I am voluntarily writing a review. Maggie is the owner of an upscale restaurant in St. Joseph, Idaho. Her executive chef quits on her without warning and her one night stand never to be seen again steps in to save the day after he discovers he is stranded because his motorcycle needs a part that has to be ordered. Just so happens he grew up in the kitchen of his family's restaurant business. Enjoyable read but felt the ending was rushed.

Light, easy read!

In book 2 of the Castle View series, daughter Maggie takes center stage as the owner of the Tiger Cafe. It's an enjoyable story with very likeable protagonists. Sparks fly when motorcyclist/chef Josh gets stranded in her small home town. Ms. Collins has a light, easy writing style that carefully constructs the story of "will he stay for her or will she leave for him?". Sorry , there will be no spoilers from me. Just enjoy the story!

Fun read

Loved this book. Loved the characters and the story. Thought the first book was a slow starter, but loved this one from the first chapter. Can't wait to read number 3!

Sweet Hearts is a very touching sweet story about how a chance encounter can change your life forever. Maggie is set in what she things her life is..home with her family running her restaurant when a one night stand turns into so much more. Josh is on a road trip to discover who he wants to be and do with his life and the rest is history. These two are made for each other their chemistry is off the charts. I loved the family background thst they both have that gives them so much in common. This book will give you faith in love again. I cried at the end when they bith made a hard decision. This is a new author for me and i definitely will be reading more of her work.

Maggie is a restaurant owner her life is way too busy for anything other than work. Her restaurant overlooks a large cat sanctuary. Josh doesn't know what he wants to do except travel and find himself. Then he stops at Maggie's restaurant and sees her asks her to play pool. The story is sexy sweet and funny lots of great character build up and a lot of room to continue with the series. Looking forward to reading more from Lynn.

Josh is traveling the country escaping his family. Maggie feels she can't leave her small home town because of her family. When Josh walks into Maggie's bar , there's an instant attraction., forcing each of them to reconsider their own situation in life. This fast paced love story left me breathless. A fun, quick clean read.

A sweet tale of love under duress and the complications of family.
Maggie is running the family restaurant when Josh arrives an his motorcycle and fills in a position when his bike breaks down. Josh is on a road trip to work out what he wants to do with his life away from his family restaurant.
But family have a way of making things difficult when love is in the air.
Very enjoyable

Interesting setting

The story takes place in a town called St.Joseph Idaho. I couldn't help but see the distinct resemblance to the town I grew up in - St. Maries, Idaho. Was fun to read about Spokane and Ceour d' Alene in a book of fiction. The author knows the area...

I love Josh and Maggie's story. It's a little like Romeo and Juliet, but with family responsibilities pulling them in opposite directions from one another. In the end... Well, you need to read it. Just sayin'!
