First read by this author who was recommend by Nancy Freedman. The story was entertaining full of corruption and mayhem.

The heart wants what it wants!
After years apart Zek and Alisa reunite under troubled circumstances. She becomes his lawyer in two cases. One for a fake rape, the other insider trading. They both are having a hard time ignoring the chemistry that still binds them together. Both are made for each other. Their love can get them through life’s trials and dangers. Great Series to read. You won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended.

The Biliionaire Prisoner - Part 1
This one was a quick read. But the anticipation of Courtroom drama was thrilling. I loved Alisa. Such a strong lady. She completely justifies why she's one of the top defence attorneys. As for Zek, I'm still not sure how much I like him. But poor guy just gets entangled in a situation which he never would have expected could be on the verge of destroying his career and everything that's he's built. The secrets, though.. YESSS. Can't wait to find out what happens next.

Boundaries are getting erased so what will Zek and Alisa do. Will they be able to stop coming together inspite of the undeniable attraction and pull they have towards each other. Amidst all this is the attacks on each of them and they have to fight together to clear Zek's name. Oh quick read but can't stop reading. Onto book 3 now.

Just when one thing gets resolved something else is there that pops up and threatens the peace between Alisa and Zek. Will they ever be able to be together. I really can't wait to find out. In this part we get to see Alisa and Zek fighting their feelings for each other and just when they're trying to find their way to each other, things are ready to tear them apart. Onto book 4 now.

Wow. This one was fast paced. We get to see Zek's life after the series of events. Zek and Alisa are finally having a chance to be together and I was oh so happy for them. Until..oh my... Totally didn't see that one coming. What will happen now...?? Can't wait to dive into the final book to find out.

Oh finally all things come together in sync in this one. This one was a perfect conclusion to this series. Oh my.. Alisa and Zek finally together. Sigh.. I loved loved this series. ❤️❤️

The story had no real flow. Nothing that said 'here is what happens next,' because it was so much back and forth from Zek to Alisa.
Then, there were countless inconsistencies; names and ages to be specific.
The first I noticed was Alisa's age throughout. At one point we're told that she was 15 when he was 18 and they parted ways. That fact would have made her 33 for the duration of the book. There were a few chapters that Alisa was 4 years younger than Zek and he was 36. Alisa would be 32 if that was the case and 14 at their parting of ways. Several times (from Alisa's point of view) readers are told that she's 31, which would have made her 5 years younger than Zek and 13 when they parted 18 years prior.
I started noticing that names changed, too. Alisa's brother was named Clark through most of the book, but there's an instance where he answered the phone 'Carl Beeler.' The other name I noticed that changed was the parole officer Ronald who suddenly became Roland after Alisa was rescued from Dillon and Melissa. Then, the company name changed from ZJ Investments to ZK Investments.
Finally, Zek beat the rape case against Melissa and then she physically assaulted him. Then, Melissa has Dillon abduct Alisa. We readers find out that Melissa's father is Dillon's stepfather. There would really be no physical resemblance between Dillon and Melissa because they would be step-siblings. While Dillon might get some character traits from Jon due to being raised by Jon, he wouldn't be 'exactly like his father' in reference to Jon. And miraculously, they knew exactly which apartment belonged to Dillon in order to break up the fight between Melissa and Dillon. I don't buy it.

The Billionaire Prisoner : The Complete Series

This was a wonderfully compelling and well written story in a set of five books.
I couldn’t get enough of the lead characters Zek and Alissa. She had an unrequited schoolgirl crush and came back into his life as his new attorney. Serious emotions came to the surface and only increased the more they spent time together.
Suspense and danger came and them but they were able to overcome the dangers. Warning: this story has lots of explicit sexual scenes which you will thoroughly enjoy. 😘😘😘
The story would never be the same without Mark his brother, Lizzy Marks wife, Clark and Cathy and their parents. These characters were so real that you believe you know them.
Enjoy. This was a great story.

Alisa has been in love with Zek her whole life. He was her brother's best friend and felt he needed to protect her from guys, even him. He left for college and unknowingly took her heart with him. No other guy ever compared, not even her husband, who just filed for divorce.

Guys you want be disappointed in reading this series. The way the authors wrote these books you can’t help but be compelled to keep on reading . The story of Alisa and Zek was so hot , having been friends since they were kids but torn apart after Zek left town . Even after all the years have passed the pull between them was crazy . Alisa came back to help Zek when she heard what was going on and being the top lawyer in the state showed she had grown up and because very successful herself .. but could she get Zek out of the trouble he has found himself in ?

How do you judge a man, by this actions, by his words, by this money? Zek wonders if every time a woman looks at him or flirts with him if all they attracted to is his money and business. After a couple of bad business decisions gets him into hot water and he finds himself in need of a lawyer he can help but wonder if his new lawyer is the high school sweetheart that he walked away from almost 20 years ago.
Alisa knew the moment she saw her new client that he was the one and the only man that she ever loved, and no matter what he had done, she was going to love him and stand by him no matter what.

I read this whole Seri e in a matter of 2 days. I could not put it down! Jek and Alisa were perfect for each other! I was very glad to see th a this billionaire actually was written to true lie form. He do something illegal, got caught and paid the price for his greed!! I would definitely recommend this book!

Heart wrenching story of a man who learns the hard way what's really important in life and it isn't the success, fame and fortune as he thought. Zek's life is plummeted from the peak of success to the pit of despair with two bad choices and the person who shows up to save him is so familiar. Loved this complete series study of human nature with a HEA.

Good enough to read twice
After the first few pages, I realized I'd already read this series. I was enjoying it too much to stop and decided to finish reading it a second time. Great storyline with lots of mystery, action, love and sex.

I absolutely LOVED this series.... It kept me going as I caught myself reading late into the night. I have never read anything by Alice Ward but I look forward to reading more of her stuff ...Bravo!!!

The love story of attorney Alisa and billionaire businessman Zek captures your attention at the beginning and continues through all five books. Zek was Alisa's brother's best friend and she has been in love with him since her childhood. Zek also loved her but because of respect for her brother and their age difference, he moved on and did not pursue a relationship. He went on to build a very successful business with a sterling reputation, until he made two mistakes. His mistakes brought them together again as he requested she represent him as his attorney. A great plot with even greater characters, add in lots of steamy sex, crime, redemption, attempted murder, rape accusations, insider trading, love, HEA and you have a great story. What chemistry and love between the two main characters. Lots of twists, turns and surprises that will keep you page turning.

This story was great! I love lawyer stories. And this was no exception. The book was well written, I loved how closed our hero, Zek was to his family. Not the usual bad boy. And our heroine Alisa was something else. A great read!

Love love love
This series was adorable! Alisa and Zek are just completely adorable. Their love is contagious. So is the love they are surrounded by with their families. Such a steamy read too. I love when these two were together. The lessons they learned because of each other were so amazing too!
