My son loved this book because it came with an exclusive Batman pirate. My husband loved it because it was like the gateway book into DC nerd training. I love it because it keeps my son busy for large spans of time and encourages action figure play as he reads and learns about the characters.
This book is a character encyclopedia of the Lego DC universe. The book is divided into 3 parts, the first part introduces all the lego minifigures, vehicles and locations in the Lego DC universe. The second part is an interview with the some lego designers. The last part is a gallery of all the Lego sets throughout the years, from 2006 to 2016. I like this book very much because i am a fan of Lego and the content of this book is amazing. I recommend this book to Lego lovers as there is an exclusive interview with the Lego designer.
Mielenkiintoinen, mutta ehkä vähän sekava kuvasto Legon DC comics -hahmoista. Vähän nuoremmalle ja hieman innostuneemmalle lukijalle varma nakki. Harmi, ettei ole suomeksi.
Tracking my 4 year olds reading goal and letting him rate it. As a parent, not impressed, and the quality is poor it was basically falling apart... But my son says it's one of his favorites though and i guess if you get through 200+ pages with a four year old wanting to read and reread them... You've done something right.
A useful reference guide for Lego collectors, if they like Batman. Unfortunately, my tastes run more towards Superman and Wonder Woman, who appeared in the Lego lineup far less frequently during the time span covered in this book. Did I like it? Not as much as I expected. Would I reread it? Not likely. Would I recommend it? It's worth reading at least once, as a work of reference. However, Lego fans with a strong affinity for Batman will probably get the most out of it.
I'm a huge superhero nerd so when I got this book I loved it. It allowed me to get all this deep information about the characters as well as the DC universe and LEGO mini-figures. I also really like the Pirate Batman that it comes with!:)
