Our hero (a cat, I think) desperately follows rumor and legend to try and get back what he lost to the seemingly endless and random acts of destruction perpetrated by the mysterious Sky People. The journey is dark and the creatures unique.

Reminds me a bit of Digger. Definitely shorter, darker, and weirder. Story is pretty simple, but world and its denizens are fascinating, and I like the art a lot.
