Customer Reviews for Off “What an excellent writer… I could not put this down. So realistic, suspenseful, it keeps you up reading until you can finally let your breath out. I'm a fan!” – NewAvidReader “I loved Mr. Robins’ first novel, and his sequel was even better. What sets him apart from all other novelists in the thriller genre is his ability to keep tensions high, the storytelling gripping, and to delight intelligent readers by not stooping to the usual vapid violence and sex sensationalism that permeates most offerings in this field. Bravo for a great story, terrific writing, and artistic integrity.” – Jeff “Have really enjoyed reading this second book in the series Colin has to find different ways and means to escape his enemy throwing him of the trail but then putting his family and friends lives at risk. …I have found that once i start reading i cannot put the book down let's hope he can destroy the enemy in the next book.” – Gillian Oyston He thought he was safe. I liked Off Course even better than its prequel, Off Kilter. Great suspense writing and description. One could feel the waves in the storm. While it was one crisis after another, one was long enough to have time to root for the protagonist to find a way out.
Have really enjoyed reading this second book in the series Colin has to find different ways and means to escape his enemy throwing him of the trail but then putting his family and friends lives at risk. His friends and colleagues get caught up with everything that is going on and find ways to help him come out of all situations alive . I have found that once i start reading i cannot put the book down let's hope he can destroy the enemy in the next book .
it gets really bad for Colin Cook before it starts to get better. Once again, Colin spends about 70% of the book as a victim until he finally gets a break and uses it to his advantage and begins to turn it around. The ending sets up for a 3rd and hopefully, Robins won't make us wait too long to see of Colin and his childhood friends can finally come out on top and come out of hiding.
Glenn Robins writes a detailed, exciting and enthralling novel that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Just when you think things couldn't get any worse, they get not only worse but much worse. Sometimes authors get bogged down in giving too many details but that is not the case in OFF COURSE. The details added, add to the suspense and to the storyline. Also the author get you to feel that you are right in the story with Collin and his family. I just wish that he had written more books. I put Glenn Robbins up with my other favorite authors John Grisham, Joel Rosenberg, Steve Berry, and James Scott Bell. Please keep writing!
