Bryce Evans has once again proved how much she loves to bring amazing stories to life
Simone is trying to get her life on track after a really bad relationship ends. Her boss helps her in hiding from him, helps her move to a town that is ran by the Dixon Pack.
Beta Bane helps her get her dream of owning a bakery come true. Fireworks are unexpected between the two.

Yet another amazing story by Bryce Evans.
Simone is on the run trying to get her life back on track. New Hope was recommended to her for finally realising her dream - to own her own bakery. But what she does not know is that the town is run by Dixon Pack. The pack's Beta Bane is intrigued by Simone. He does not understand why is is drawn to her, can't sort out his feelings towards her. And he keeps getting it wrong all the time.
Plenty of drama, it is an emotional roller coaster. But Simone's past catches up with her. Can she really on her new friends? Will Bane be there for her when she needs him the most and will Simone trust him? You just need to read for yourself. This is definitely a MUST READ.
Bring on book 3.

Oh, I loved it! Simone is a bit battered when she arrives in New Hope, but she isn't down for the count. She's trying to put her life back together, and love isn't in the cards at the moment.
Bane isn't looking for his fated mate, no way, no how, especially not one in the form of a human who is totally ignorant to the world of shifters.
Her new landlord is so alpha, so take charge, so... Not what Simone is looking for, even if she was looking. Plus, Bane doesn't like her. He said so. And that didn't hurt her feeling. Not one bit.
He can't keep his foot out of his mouth whenever she's around. Simone has so many walls built up, Bane isn't even sure he wants to try to break them down. But she pulls him in, she tempts him, he can't stay away from her. And he likes her. He really does.
Between dealing with opening her bakery, the knowledge that shifters are real (along with vampire and who knows what else), and a vicious ex who won't let her be, Simone has a lot on her plate. Add to that an attraction to a man who is totally wrong for her, and life promises to be exciting!
I really enjoyed this story! New Hope, Georgia is a place I hope to visit many times!

I received an ARC for an honest review.

Simone Alexander's boyfriend beat her and belittled her and she put up with until he told her to strip in front of his friends and she said no. He beat her so bad she ended up in the hospital, but with the help of her best friend who was her employer and mentor she left that life behind. She was on her way to open her own bakery and candy shop.

Bane Cross is the Beta (second in command) of the Dixon Pack and it was his job to protect the pack. So when a new human was coming to town to open a bakery, it was his job to investigate her. Robert Olson was an elder in the New York Pack and vouched for her, but still he needed to do his job.

When the two meet the sparks fly and they both get their feet caught in their mouths. Bane was really interested in Simone, but didn't think she was his mate, but the urge to protect her was strong. Simone learning about wolves and being mistreated by her ex was determined to stick to her plan which didn't include a new man to love. Besides her ex was still out there and she knew sooner or later he would find her. Read how Simone and Bane butt heads while trying to figure things out.

Sweet, Sexy read that makes you want to move to New Hope!!

Simone, with her bruises and broken rib, is starting a new life away from her abusive, very ex-boyfriend. Her mentor at the bakery arranges for her to open her own bakery in the small town of New Hope. Simone is overwhelmed by the welcome and help she receives, yet suspicious of ever-present Beta wolf Bane. She quickly learns she is in a shifter community, and while adapting to that knowledge tries to figure out the growly, misspeaks of the alternatingly charming and annoying Bane.

Can she as human adapt to New Hope and gain acceptance in the pack town? Will Bane ever keep his foot out his mouth long enough to win her over? Love the pack/neighbor feel of the entire town (or most - just hints, no spoilers).
A sweet, sexy take-charge-of-your-life story with well-developed characters, and heartwarming relationships.

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Simones dead end boyfriend has been hitting her for a while now, then one night things get out of hand and the cops are called. Determined to give her a better life her boss, Mr Olsen, sends her off to New Hope to start a new start. Bane is eager to meet his new tenant, there's something about her voice that has had him wanting to talk to her more and more.

Poor Simone is one of the lucky women who has people around her waiting to giver her a chance to get away from the abuse. Determined to start over, and never be a victim again, Simone is braver than she thinks. Bane is your typical Alpha, he's domineering, thinks he's always right. But he's also flummoxed by Simone which makes him endearing. A story highlighting that it's always possible to become who you want and to escape a life of violence.

This is a really good story. Simone boyfriend think it is ok to push her around. One night when him and his friend where drunk he tried to make her strip for them. Her yelling got her help. But she ended up in the hospital. While in the hospital her boss/ friend talked her into starting over in a new place that way he would not find her. Moving to New Hope and getting her own bakery was scary and exciting. But she did not know she was moving into a shifter town.

Babe and Simone

The second book in The Dixon Pack Series. This novel is the second book but can be read as a standalone novel. Some of the old characters from the first book are back in this novel but this is truly a book for Bane and Simone. The plot is intriguing and believable. Glad Simone and her bakery got off to a good start with the help of Bane, Finn, Josh, and Monica. Would love 💘 for Ben and Monica to get their story told in their own novel. Overall a delightful, action packed adventure!

Finding her grit

What a great story about strong women and the men who love them. The focus may have been on Simone and Bane, but so many connections were made and strengthened over the course of the book. Each character has been through so much and yet still is able to find love, laughter and family. This was such a well written book and I can’t wait to read the next one from the author.

This is the second book in Bryce Evans Dixon pack and you do not want too miss out at all seriously this book is amazing.

Bryce Evans is one of those writers that you no what ever she brings out you will fall in love with easily.

Simone Alexander has escaped her life to start all over again in the small but beautiful town of New Hope. she is quickly immersed in to the town and her new life and friends she has also been entrusted with a huge secret, she is now fully understanding the new world she is living in and its full of shifters that she never knew existed its kind of like a dream too her.

She has a plan and it is to open up a bakery of her own and too make it successful but in doing this and trying too get her business up and running she has heap load of hurdles too overcome—the biggest hurdle being the most handsomest wolf shifter named Bane.

Bane Cross is the Beta wolf of the Dixon Pack, and he is super intrigued by the lovely Simone even when she was still a stranger on the other end of the telephone he new there was something about her something special. He has this plan he will charm her with his winning personality that is when he finally meets her in person that is, but he has this huge problem he seems too have foot in mouth syndrome ..... around her especially and he just cannot figure out why his wolf knows but can he figure it out?

Can Bane protect Simone? especially know danger is upon her. and Simone past has shown up on her very doorstep, will she be safe? will Bane and Simone survive this? or will this super sweet baker break his heart for good?

A brilliant second instalment too Dixon Pack series I just loved all the characters especially Bane even though he made some silly mistakes it makes him more likeable more human even though he is a shifter.. ironic I no. Simone she has gone through a world of pain and yet she is stronger she is more and has real friends. her business is everything she wanted she has made a ton of connections but she cant seem too shake Bane but does she want too..... me thinks no.

What I am most curious about is the Bears.... I need too no more.

As always Bryce Evans has done an outstanding job with this book I cannot wait for the next instalment.

Oh Bane....he just couldn't stop putting his foot in it could he? He's the beta of the Dixon pack and best friend of the Alpha, Arden. He's got a lot of responsibilities including making sure things are good with the businesses being rented in town. He's anxious to meet Simone the new tenant to the bakery next to Quinn's store. He likes her voice and wanted to know more...more out of curiosity or so he tells himself until he meets her. They have a very rocky start and he's completely drawn to her but according to him she's NOT his mate but wants her more than anything.

Simone's had a very rough time of it fleeing an extremely abusive ex Terry while he was in jail for beating the crud out of her. So, this is her new start and she has a plan for her life. She wants to be successful with her bakery and she's very good and has no time for anything else! She's wary of people at first until she meets Quinn and starts to warm to Josh, Finn, and Monica who help her with her bakery. Bane does help her as well when he's not making her mad ha. Monica and Josh are brother and sister and have a tragic past...oh poor Monica...you just wanna love on her! Finn is from book 1 and honestly he's awesome and love his character. Ohhh if y'all read book 1 you remember Alice right? Oh she's back and with a vengeance except she's set her sights on Bane. Ruh roh! Its a great story and only a couple spots of typos no big. I loved the book and once Bane FINALLY realizes who she is to him maybe they will get their HEA! Will Terry find her? Will she mate with Bane and turn wolfy? Hmm..guess you gotta read it!

Pain, abuse, betrayal TO love, passion compassion, friendship and hope. Those are how I would describe this book. I went from angry to tears to entice with Bane.. I mean for the good part I was Simone...lol...This crazy beautiful story is about Bane got Simone to accept him. Simone was in a relationship with an abusive boyfriend who like to have her under his feet. On his last beating he put her in the hospital and she finally finds the strength to get away..a friend helps her get set up in a new life with a business too. Now she has a bakery and has friendly people around her. Perfect right? Well what she doesn't know is the town is full of shifters and one in particular has his eyes on her..he drives her mad and full of passion but can she trust her hurt out again? Is she will to even try?
Bane is sex on legs, and with just one look at Simone he is hooked..she is beautiful funny and won't fall at his feet and what an attitude towards him... Only problem is welllllll....she is human and he is a wolf, but I guess maybe fate didn't care. Now all he has to do is convince her to let go and trust him..then all of the sudden this jerk comes into town making demands and stuff and boxy does he want to just feed him his own a** but he has to stay still.. But for how long? Can he protect his mate ? And still win her? I am hooked and can't wait to read more.. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review...

Simone has suffered long enough at the hands of her sick in the head boyfriend. When he puts her in hospital she finds the strength to leave from her friend and employer. He gives her cash and sends her to friends in New Hope. With her dreams to run a bakery now being achieved Simone is getting her life back on track. She is clueless to the fact that the town is chock full of shifters but they are heck a friendly - something she's not used to.

Bane is the town Romeo but when he meets Simone he feels an instant tug. But she can't be his mate - she is fully human. But maybe they can be together anyway - if only he can get through her prickly exterior. But when he became aware of why Simone is in New Hope, his hackles rise and he's spoiling for her ex to make his move and give him an excuse to kill him!

Drama, love, passion, great friendships and easy camaraderie. I loved this new read from the Dixon Pack. I loved the Alphas story and we get to see his relationship in glimpses through this book too as his mate becomes Simone's friend. I loved the ease with which Simone accepts her new shifter friends. I really want the recipes for some of the confections from her shop!!!!! I must be part bear cos I want me some Strawberry Honey Taffy!!!!

Can't wait to see what the rest of the series brings

And a delightful book this is. Seriously what a good read. Ms Evans has taken real life situations and turned them into an unforgettable story in the shifter world. Simone has come to their small town to escape the deadly abuse of her ex boyfriend.

Setting up a new bakery, she is amazed at the wonderful people who just step in to help her get started and succeed from day one. She had no idea that she would be accepted almost like family—friendships had never been a part of her life—until now. Except for Bane, this sexy man just seemed to make her blood boil and not just from anger. She wasn't going there. She had a plan and another man was not part of that plan.

Bane had other ideas, he felt things for her. As Beta it was his job to make sure all were protected in his pack and town. Deep inside he knew that wasn't all, but he wasn't willing to admit it was more—at least not now.

The story of strength, friendship and love is one you won't for get or be able to put down. The ancillary
characters are seductive, and hearing their stories is a must (hope you are reading this Ms Evans) I fell for big Alpha Bear Ben and his broken mate to be, the young men and newly turned Finn are all unforgettable and I want to know more. A hearty recommend from me.

Very good book! I enjoyed it so much.
Simone is a human who only wants to continue to learn her craft as a baker and maybe one day open her own bakery. Unfortunately, she has a boyfriend who is a total douche. He beats her all the time. She wants to get away but seems unable to do that...until he finally goes too far and Simone ends up in the hospital. Her boss comes to visit her and tells her will help her get away from her nutcase boyfriend. by sending her to the town of New Hope and loaning her the money to start her own bakery. Simone jumps at the chance for a fresh start.

Bane is the Beta for the New Hope wolf pack. His job is take of the pack, make sure they are safe and protected. After talking to Simone on the phone (she'll be renting a building from him), he is intrigued by her voice and can't wait to meet her. Hilarity ensues as Bane makes one mistake after another with Simone. He just can't seem to keep his foot out of his mouth around her.

When someone in the pack targets Simone, will Bane be able to help her? What about when her past catches up with her? Will Simone ever be safe again? Will these two finally get it together and have a chance at a happy ever after? Or will Bane continue to make mistake after mistake? Read this book and find out. You won't be disappointed.

I really liked Bane's story and i found both characters strong and funny and entairtaining.
The book was quick paced with lots of action and a woman trying to over come abuse and finding her strength and the love of her life at the same time.

I love the way Bryce Evans writes andi love the pack and that we can see how they grow and evolve.
I really can't wait to read more and see more couples getting their HEA.
This book can be read as a stand alone and has a HEA

I was provided a free copy in return for an honest review.

I enjoyed Simone and Bane. Bane suffered from foot in mouth disease and Simone had a slight chip on her shoulder but Ms. Evans with a bit of help from their friends managed to find their happily ever after. I found myself charmed by Bane. He meant well but it never came out quite the way he intended. He was fascinated by Simone but knew they didn't have a future since she was human, or did they? Finding out was full of twists and turns . Simone is running and not ready for a relationship. And while she is attracted to Bane, she is sure he doesn't care for her. Can Bane show her that she means more to him? I enjoyed the interaction between Simone and Bane as they found their footing. I also enjoyed the additional layer Ms. Evans added to this story with strong secondary characters. They made the story much better and added to our understanding of what made Bane and Simone tick. This story was well written and full of humor. Even better, while this is second in the series, you do not need to read the first in order to understand what's happening as Bane and Simone find their happily ever after.

OMG This is a bloody marvellous book, I enjoyed it so much, I only put it down because sleep and work called. Right from the very first the book entices, draws and captures your imagination. It's one of those that when your not reading your thinking and dwelling on what happens next.
I highly recommend to our shifter family you'll love this one. It made me laugh and sad and worried and !!!!!
Simone I really enjoyed getting to know, I loved her transformation and Monica's, I loved revisiting Quinn and Jade. It was wonderful the bakery the Bears and the whole town. The food sounded delicious, I'd love some of those honey buns and taffy. Yum.
It was amusing watching and waiting for Bane to put his foot in it again and lovely when he finally came to his senses. But how sweet he was... And sexy a man that can wear a apron.
I feel that this was even better than the first one and well deserving of the five stars.
I missed down loading as a arc and because I enjoyed the first book so much I bought this one. It well worth every cent. Now we just have to wait for the next one.

Sometimes it takes a humans love!

How do you pick up and move on when you have been beaten and almost killed by the one who is supposed to love you?
Simone is learning how. She has moved with some help, to the Dixon pack land, and has set up her bakery . She is drawn to Bane right away. Once she learns about shifter's she learns that she is not his mate and just wants to be left alone to start over.

Bane is drawn to Simone right away but is confused because he doesn't feel the pull that everyone explained he would feel. But he still feels the needs to be close to her.

As they work to make her bakery a viable entity, and they fight the physical draw. When Simone is attacked the mate pull comes to the foreground and Bane now realizes that Simone is his mate.

This is a wonderfully written story. It flows and once you start it you won't want to put it down! Evans has a way of bringing you in to the story and holds you their until the last word. A must read!

I was waiting patiently for this book. I really liked Bane in the first book and was excited that he was getting his own story.

I liked Simone from the very beginning. She was a woman who was in a bad situation and was able to get out and thrive. Thought she was a little reluctant to accept help, this changed as she grew as an individual.

I found that I still really liked Bane in this book. Have you ever had those open mouth insert foot moments? Bane seems to have them A LOT of them around Simone. Some of them were funny, while others were a little on the mean side.

I have read a lot of shifter books and usually they tend to follow a certain path. One character meets another realizes instantly they are mates and falls in insta-love and spends most of the book trying to convince the other of the connection. What I liked about this book was that even though Bane felt something for Simone, he struggled with it. He was protective and wanted to help but wasn’t willing to admit feelings beyond lust.

I highly recommend you read this book!

Bryce Evans continues to amaze us with the second story of the Dixon Pack
Simone fled to New Hope to start a new life after her ex boyfriend physically abused her
and humiliated her in front of his friends. With the help from her ex employer, she opened
a bakery which hand always been her dream.
There she met Bane, who is the Beta of the Dixon Pack. Bane is so confused about his feelings
towards Simone that half the time he says the wrong things. She found out why she moved to
New Hope and he made it his mission to protect her. With her ex boyfriend being released from
prison, will Simone feel safe and protected by Bane and her new found friends. This is a absolute
must read book. I loved it and can't wait for the next installment.

Simone has had to flee from her abusive ex. With the help of a good friend she ends up in New Hope to start a bakery and hopefully a new life. She soon discovers how friendly the town is. They all offer her instant friendship and help. Bane is the Beta in New Hope . He is intrigued with Simone but does nothing but mess each encounter up with him. Then something happens that leads them to new discoveries and possible danger and changed everything and turns both their worlds upside down.
I liked Simone and Bane's interaction. They both were so funny at times especially when Bane puts his foot in his mouth which seems to be all the time. The story was great and with the town so inviting and friendly characters you can't help but love this series. Looking forward to the others stories soon

Outstanding Read

I like how this story leads up to the healing of the main female character Simone and how she fights to not believe she can be loved. The beta of the Dixon pack knows his wolf sees her as his mate for life but the human side fights it until she is almost killed by Alice who is in love with the beta who is Bane. Simone gets strong when she is finally mated to Bane and fights her ex after he kidnapped her and her friend Monica.

I look forward to another book in the Dixon pack the author did a great job telling this story. The characters are strong and well suited for each other.

Ms. Evans has outdone herself in this one! Bane and Simone were so good together, even when he was misguided and she was upset with him. Bane was trying so hard, but I think someone needed to get him one of those shirts that said "open mouth, insert foot"! Luckily actions speak louder than words and Simone still fell for him. I absolutely loved this one! I can't wait to see who gets the next story! I received a copy in exchange for an honest review. Highly Recommended!

Layers of action, great characters!

There's a layer of drama that runs through this story, and it's readability is increased by the great characterizations and deepening plot. Simone goes through some heavy stuff but get the chance to make a better life for herself. Her struggles and strength are equally explored and will leave you in love with her even more fully in the end. I loved the whole messy thing, every page of it.

I love this book!! Simone has had a rough start in life and is getting a new start in New Hope. Bane is the Beta of the Dixon pack and just can't seem to keep his foot our of his mouth around Simone. The banter and chemistry between these two. I loved how quickly Simone took Monica under her wing and protection.

While I can't wait to read Monica and Ben's story, I am really wanting to see Finn find his other half. Love, love this book and can't wait for the next one!!!
