What will happen when Chardonnay and Stephan realize that the details behind their blind date aren’t exactly what they seemed to be? When Chardonnay Selby arrives at the hotel, she immediately spots two men holding white roses—the object that her work friend Cecily told her would distinguish her blind-date from everyone else. She assumes that her guy is the one who’s dressed more casually, in jeans and sport coat, but she soon realizes her man is the complete opposite, dressed in a fine-tailored suit, waiting with the air of confidence of the man who owns the place. His name is Stephan Hale, and though he doesn’t own the hotel, Chardonnay quickly learns that he’s in complete control of everything. Stephan begins to explore the object he’s admiring all night long, and he decides to take her to a botanical garden where he’s sure they’ll have privacy. But will Chardonnay put a stop to the evening before things even really get going? Will she allow herself to submit to Stephan and his dominant touch in the way her body is telling her to?

Here we go again. These extended short stories follow the same formula. An introduction to the characters - impossibly beautiful and rich - bring them together for a chapter of mild flirtation. Then it's a few pages of the raison d'etre of this genre... and guess what? A cliffhanger ending. You need to buy the next story to find out what happens. Why bother? I can't imagine the formula will be any different.
The "encounters" were enticing, but I'd like to see more creative use of language. The word "slit" was probably the most overused; I think there are more appetizing words that could have been thrown in occasionally.
As someone who writes and reads a lot of erotica, I'll be the first in line to admit that this book was piping HOT!
This is not your average indie author, quick smut, "wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am" type of story. The story is well written with great pacing. The banter and chemistry between the two main characters are playful, while equally sizzly.
The cliff hanger at the end has me wanting to grab the entire series. This one is a well deserved 5/5 star rating.
When Chardonnay gets set up on a blind date from her best friend she ends up with more than just a stomach full of butterflies. As she goes to meet Stephan at a hotel bar, thing start to get crazy from there. From dinner and drinks to a movie and ending at a garden Chardonnay wonders if this is all real or just a dream until the unexpected happened and leaves her questioning everything.
Puzzling ending to a part 1 of a book! I did not find it particularly special or compelling. I have no interest in continuing this series. I found it a bit funny at the end how she threw in the cliffhanger I guess to get readers to contained nue...yeah okay!?!
When her room mate sets her up on a blind date, chardonnay has no idea what to expect and when she meet stephen she doesn't know how to say no. What happens when the innocent girl is suddenly in a new situation with a dominant that she knows nothing about check it out
Chardonnay hasn't been on a date since her last boyfriend cheated on her so with the push of her friend Cecily she goes on a blind date. Fancy dinner, a movie and ends in the park with sex.
It was a quick read and a nice book to get me back into my reading. I wasn't on the edge of my seat with this book but it wasn't dull either. I wish I had more to say but I honestly don't.
I took this book thinking it was complete as i finished it i realised its only a few short chapters and isnt available for sale in the uk. What a waste of time 😠
When chardonnay was set up on a blind date after being dumped by her ex boyfriend, she had a surprise coming when she went out with the wrong man. I won't say it's not a good story.I It just didn't pull me in.
Had Cecily pulled a fast one on her. Chardonnay wondering a white rose a met at the bar dinner and movie. Push for sex. All with Stevan she says. Ok but it is with a Ph. What now chats online and a submissive. Char knows her friend has done.
The story was better than I thought. It did feel like one full chapter of a book. The main character Chardonnay situation felt real. I bet there are women out there holding out like her. The end was ok, not a banger but does make you want to read book two.
A quirky blind date if there ever was one. Set up by her friend, she had no way of know what she was getting into. This is a short novella sure to awake your carnal appetites.
I started off thinking "oh boy another cheesy "erotic" story", but the little twist at the end was well played. I'll go ahead and read the full collection for giggles
This book was amazing! I enjoyed the adventure the main character went on! I loved the cliff hanger at the end because it made me wonder what happens next! Loved it
It's a short erotic story, of course, only for adults. About a blind date between Chardonnay and Stevan. Is it cliche? Yes. Bas a good ending. Otherwise I will not buy, at least for now, the rest of the books.
Deliciously erotic and enticing! This story is well written as all of hers are and I love how the plot thickens right at the end of this little novella. Fantastic
