Millennials: The New Greatest Generation

Rate this book
At 80 million strong, they are the biggest age grouping in American history. Each country's millennials are different, but because of globalization, social media, the exporting of Western culture and the speed of change, millennials worldwide are more similar to one another than to older generations within their nations. They are the most threatening and exciting generation since the baby boomers brought about social revolution, not because they're trying to take over the Establishment but because they're growing up without one.

Scary but well-supported with data.

I'm terrified by the fact that they rate so low on empathy and have trouble intellectually understanding other's points of view. That doesn't bode so well for us, it seems to me. Great article, though, well-supported by data.

Interesting

I highly disagree with grouping those born in 1980 into the millennial generation but the rest made for a very interesting read.
