The day J.R Black and Helaina Unity tuned sixteen was a day they would never forget. Not only did their parents give them each a Ford Mustang, but they used their Jewel Machine for a trip that took them back in time, and millions of miles from Earth. Through the magic of the gifts that the Captain gave them they were given the machine settings which would bring J.R and Helaina back in time, and to the space ship that was carrying their people to Earth. They spend a week learning, watching and absorbing skills they would need to unite the two populations of Earth. During their time on the ships, J.R and Helaina get to pilot a POD ship, explore a planet, rescue big foot like creatures, and see, and do so much more. When they return home with all the gifts their ancestors have given them they “ the knowledge will come when needed” as promised. Because just seconds after their arrival home they are put in a situation that confuses their Elders.
J.R and Helaina don't have much time to rest because Helaina has visions that the Chin brothers are about to set off three atomic bombs and cause a tsunami that would destroy most of the West Coast, and on top of that a Mega Storm is brewing in the near future. J.R and Helaina must stop the Chin's. Even with the help from the F.B.I, a few magic items, super powers, and their family, and friends the odds are against them.

Sandra Golden was born in San Jose California and is a graduate of Gunderson High School. She joined the US Army where she met her husband David. In December 1989 she graduated from Memphis State University with a B.A in Education, a month later her only son James Robert Golden was born on January 4, 1990. Sandy was a dedicated stay at home mother who was a room mother, school volunteer, and cub scout leader.

When her son J.R was killed on New Year's eve of 2008 Sandra turned to write to help deal with her grief. It has always been a dream of hers to become a published writer. Sandra's hobbies include traveling, cooking, writing, gardening, and scrapbooking. Sandra and her husband share their home with a few cats, and a sugar glider named Peanut. Sandra hopes her readers enjoy the adventures of J.R Black and his cousin Helaina Marie Unity as they search for Unity, and acceptance, in this unique book series.
