Rate this book
The people of Unity are evolving, and J.R Black and Helaina Unity are rushing to find “The Ghost” because he is the key that will close the gate to the Mirror World, and help them in destroying the threat of BCD from destroying the planet of Earth, and achieving Unity on the planet. They just don't know how. Not yet anyway. Focusing on their mission becomes a challenge when family emergencies, unexpected challenges, a dragon, uncontrollable abilities and the people they are dating are added into the mix. And let’s not forget that they must keep their Elders and Guardians in the dark, and somehow let them keep believing that they are in control. Which they're not. J.R and Helaina as The One's are the ones who are in charge, and they don't even know where this road is going to lead them. But with each problem they face the solution always is in the magic within them, and the magical items in their procession.
Problems must be solved one at a time on this journey. How do they know they are on the right track? Because they, or their future selves to be more precise, sent them clues in the form of a cryptic poem they wrote themselves. One they left in the care of the Presidents of the United States who kept it a secret even from the Guardians of Earth. They find the Ghost in Jamaica and when he arrives at Hope Island they use the magic of the coins and the Jewel Machine to restore his memory and discover he is family. After J.R and the Ghost close the gate to the Mirror World with the bomb he helps them with their most important mission and takes them with him into the future. Where J.R and Helaina learn more about their future, use a port hole to get the POD out of Station One, destroy BCD. Sacrifices are made by everyone, but one sacrifice is made right by their Watcher, The Captain, who makes the ultimate sacrifice for the Guardians of the Machine.
