Saints Protection & Investigations
A private investigation business, pulling together men from the CIA, FBI, ATF, DEA, Border Patrol, SEALS, and police, devoted to the missions no one else wants or can solve.

A man who searches for facts:
A former SEAL, Bart Taggart’s career with Saints Protection & Investigations fills his need to take on any mission, see it to the end, and then enjoy his down time with his friends and easy women. A man who searches for facts has no room in his life for deceivers.
His world is turned upside down, when assigned to assist the FBI in searching for a kidnapped boy, he is paired with a dark-haired beauty, unlike any woman he has met.
A woman who with the gift of sight:
Faith Romani, a psychologist and artist, works for the local police occasionally, using her special gift of sight. Tired of hiding her gift if it can be used for good, she strives for acceptance in a world of doubters.
Sparks fly when the two are forced to spend a week close together as they race toward the deadline given by the kidnappers. Will Bart be able to put aside his prejudice to accept that not all truths can be explained? Will Faith be able to understand her visions in time to save the child? Will the two of them be able to forge a partnership…or possibly more?
Seeing Love is a riveting novel that will hold you to the dynamic end!

As an Award Winning and International Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo Best Selling Author, I have always been an avid reader. I joke that I "cut my romance teeth" on the old historical romance books. I’ve written as a hobby for over 30 years. In 2014, I finally gave in to the characters in my head pleading for their story to be told. Thus, Emma's Home was created.

My first novel, Emma's Home became an Amazon Best Seller in 3 categories within the first month of publishing. Its success was followed by the rest of the Fairfield Series and then led into the Love's Series. From there I have continued with the romantic suspense Alvarez Security Series and now the Saints Protection & Investigation Series.

My books are filled with sweet romance and hot sex; mystery, suspense, real life characters and situations. My heroes are alphas, take charge men who love the strong, independent women they fall in love with.
I worked as a counselor in a high school and have been involved in education for the past 30 years. I recently retired and now can spend more time devoted to my writing.

I have been married to a wonderfully patient man for 35 years and have 2 adult, very supportive daughters.
When writing, my dog or one of my cats will usually be found in my lap!

I love to hear from readers, so please email me!

Awww man I really loved this one. Bart was great he was a jerk to her at the beginning judging her because of what happen in the past. Faith cried about the way he treated her but she then was over it because she didn't care what he thought. That is why she kept her visions to herself instead of broadcasting it. I was glad when Bart and Faith finally started to see each other another member has fallen!. I felt the pain for Ivan loving his grandson then having his get kidnapped,I kept hoping they would find him sooner. What I love is that Maryann's story's is that you never know who it is until the end this keeps you wanting to point fingers to everyone. Overall the story was great I hope Luke is the next story and he gets himself that unknown person he was talking to... oh a hacker girl!

~~~~~~~~~
I enjoyed the heck out of this book after it picked up.
I loved how Maryann adds not only kick up mystery to her books but this one had a paranormal twist that I loved and I would have liked a little more of!
Bart is sweet...but he kinda started off jerkish. You totally get his reasons but i still wanted to kick him a few times haha. I loved how even when he didn't understand why he was possessive of Faith!
Faith was sweet and quiet and just needed to have a little more faith in herself. I would have loved her more had she had a little more spunk. I love a h with more of a mouth and backbone to go along with her sweet and quiet.
These two start off with a wonderful love/hate relationship. thrown together by a case and forced to work together. I liked their relationship but i wish it would have taken off a little faster...Insta love for me has a little less angst.
the storyline itself hooked me and kept reeling me in. throw in some kick butt characters and I'm sold.
**Author's Copy for a honest review** **No SPOILERS**
Maryann Jordan did another fantastic job in creating the characters Bart and Faith. The plot in Seeing Love was well thought out and equally well written. The story flowed effortlessly.
This book was different the hero did not have to rescue the heroine from a serial killer or a drug cartel. The hero in Seeing Love had to develop Faith in a person and the unknown.
The premises of this book was the paranormal yet, not as other paranormal books. Its about believing in what you cannot see; the author did a phenomenal job with this book and with her other series.
If you haven't read the other books in The Saints Protection & Investigations Series, you simply most read them and other books by this author. They are ALL must reads.
Maryann Jordan has given us another 5 ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ read. For me this book was an absolute page Turner. I will admit I was very worried because our Hero in this book has an Issue with what the heroine is... I knew this from previous books but I should have known that Maryann would make everything ok.
This story had you on edge from start to finish because trust me you would never ever Guess the Villain till you get the part where Maryann wants you to know. I absolutely loved that. I was never bored in between and I really didn't wanna put this book down.
The H and h in this book are so amazing, they fit so perfectly. I loved how even though the Heroine was enamoured with the Amazing Alpha Hero she never let him walk all over her. She had a back bone and she used it. I admired the Hero for how he apologised when he was wrong and worked for her to forgive him. I love how her respected her work and what she did to help others.
This book was so Different but still Maryann Jordan gave us an amazing, hooking page Turner... Another Absolute must read.
I've received a authors copy in exchange of my honest opinion. Loved it. Even though Bart was having doubts of Faith's gift and was a jerk to her at the beginning, he wanted to protect her. Lots of suspense and having you guessing who done it. I love thus authors books, she is one of my all time favorites. And love seeing all the Saints guys and even a cameo from one of the Alvarez guys.
Arc copy thank you Maryann
This was so sweet. Bart having so much doubt in Faith after he had a bad experience with a "psychic" I just kept waiting for the light bulb to click in his heart waiting to fall in love. When they finally fell in love it was the greatest moment.
Still in shock over who had kidnapped Erick. Faith having her gift to help others and not abuse it was nice, never taking advantage of people.
great book
Faith ...the evidence of things not seen. In the 4th book of the Saint's series, Bart must learn to learn to look past his prejudice to see that Faith is both genuine and the possessor of unseen gifts. Kept me guessing for the villain of the kidnapping t0 the end . Another book to keep the reader engrossed all night.
Okay, this book totally made up for the last one. I'm just going to give the author the benefit of the doubt and say the last one was a fluke. This one rocked. And like the first book - I didn't see that ending coming.
Seeing Love is Bart's book. While I can't stand the name, Bart proved to be a worthy character. After a mafia boss's grandson is kidnapped, the men of Saints Protection and Investigation are called in to help. Since Ivan believes the FBI is focused more on his unscrupulous businesses instead of finding his grandchild, he believes these men will focus more on the kidnapping.
Only catch? He requires they work with a police sketch artist that 'sees' things, much to Bart's dismay. After the issues he had with his grandmother and fake psychics, he's not interested in what this seer has to say. However, Faith isn't like your everyday Miss Cleo --
description
--but rather someone who dreams images and draws them. She gets feelings. She doesn't claim to be a medium and she can't make a vision happen. However, with Bart's training and her sight, they might be able to save Erik in time.
Bart and Faith were awesome to read. While I think they fell a little hard too fast (which is why this gets 4 stars), I couldn't help but love them. She was insecure about things unlike the previous women but she was still honest. She told him how she felt, didn't hide who she was, and didn't make him guess when something upset her. Quite frankly, I'd love to be friends with her!
And Bart was a whole mess of fun. He was a charming man - even when he acted like a dick. He was quick to apologize and get over himself. It made him all the more endearing.
A friend finally made me realize why I like this series - it's a lot like the TV show Criminal Minds! It's like if Elle Kennedy and Criminal Minds had a baby. So if you like crime drama with some romance mixed in, these books are awesome.
I hated how he spoke to her at the beginning, but... I love that it’s not just brushed off with an apology. Verbally attacking someone is often just as damaging as a physical assault, more insidious because there are no bruises or blood to see, but the affects can be horrendously traumatic. I like how the author followed that through. Mental pain is still pain.
I received a Reader's Copy in exchange for an honest review.
Maryann Jordan does it again!!!! If you haven't read the series, start with the first one and read them all! They are really that good! I'd say this was my favorite, but I've probably said that after each one of her books! This series keeps getting better.
This book was a little different from the other ones in this series in that the woman involved is a "seer" and the Saints weren't originally hired to protect or rescue her. Faith actually helped the Saints, per the client's request, solve the crime. I liked that it wasn't your typical rescue.
Bart is the Saint's agent who was chosen lead on this case as he had prior contact with the client on a previous case. He is a pretty boy, man whore who had no problem bedding the ladies, until it came to the one who intrigued him most. He was brought up to always search for the truth, but believe in what is real--what you can see or touch. So when Faith is brought in to help the Saints, he lashes out at her. She has "gifts" that he doesn't believe, mostly because he can't "SEE" them for himself. He's also biased because his grandmother was almost swindled out of her money by a fake psychic.
Faith is actually a part-time art teacher and police sketch artist. Faith "shows" her visions through her sketches. She can't control what she sees or when. Slowly, she begins to show Bart that just because you can't see/touch something doesn't mean it isn't real.
There are lots of twists and turns throughout the story that keep you on the edge of your seat. I was shocked to see who was responsible for the crime. This novel is a HEA that does not have a cliffhanger! Yay!
REVIEW
*May contain spoilers *
This is Bart Taggarts story and what a hot story it is.
Bart has always been a one night kind of man but now his thoughts at having someone in his life , forever was waning down on him.
Faith was raised by her grandmother. She is an artist who was told by her grandmother she had a gift. Faith never really understood that. But she knows it is something but the issue is will anyone else believe it?
Faith keeps drawing a young boy and finally she figures out what is going on but that is once she meets the sexy Bart Taggart.
Bart however doesn't believe anything Faith is telling. Bart was always told to look for the truth and nothing about Faith sits right with him. But that all changes. Little Erik is the grandson to Ivan Krustas the head of the Russian Mob and now Ivan is the one who needs Jack and his men’s help.
Can Bart save the boy and Faith?
Will Bart finally have his forever?
This was a really good book. I think it's my favorite so far in this series.
A few hiccups in the editing but nothing took away from the story. The author gives us a powerful story with action, suspense and just the right amount of Hot Romance.
I was gifted a copy of this book for an honest review.
Just when you think how can she possibly give us another gripping one to read she turns around and does just that. Reading as much as I do it is hard to find a author that will continually keep me on edge but have the romance to be in the mix while it all unfolds with each one being fresh and not predictable. In this one Bart is given the right formula per say by his grandfather especially when it comes to loved ones. Somewhere along the line he forgot a bit of it I would say especially thanks to his life now. Musings are starting to creep into his mind but they are given a case from a unlikely source. Also someone known to the missing boy's grandfather has also been asked to help. Faith has specialties of her own but Bart being the man he has grown into finds her a bit hard to take which will show through when they work together. I did like how Faith is written by this author it lends a bit of mystic with the mystery. Accepting will be left to work itself out but not before some fences will have to be mended along the way by Bart. The suspense and story are high caliber with you sticking with these two every step of the way. Because of the history of who they are doing this for makes for even more intense in the story. Somewhere along the way though Bart will learn that he is missing the most important thing and part of the joy of reading this is seeing how they grow and all the rewards. It will also have a surprise ending with the answers that will come forth but the epilogue is the yummy icing on the cake.
This is one of Maryann’s best! Seeing Love has a little element of supernatural, without being a paranormal story. I loved the element to the story.
Bart is a typical playboy. Bats his eyes and panties drop and girls are in line to go home with him. That’s all he’s ever wanted. He has never had a girlfriend or been in love. Hookups have been his way of life. He always wanted the true love his grandparents had, but just never found a girl he felt that way about….until he met Faith. Faith lived a poor life. She had lost all of her family. She had a “gift” or at least that’s what her grandmother had called it. Faith could see images and then she would draw them. She wouldn’t call them premonitions, she just could read people and sometimes those images would come to pass. This gift made it hard for people to get close to her since most didn’t believe her or thought her to be a freak. Bart was put off by Faith at first due to her gift and spent a lot of time trying to repair his lack of faith in her ability. Bart falls hard for this girl who only wants to help people. Faith and Bart meet on a case that the Saints are working. Faith’s gift puts her in harm’s way and Bart will have none of that. This is HIS girl now.
Loved to watch Bart fall hard for this girl. It was an attraction that grew into something that would last forever. Bart and Faith’s story was a great one.
Another amazing story. Bart and the gang from Saints Protection are called in to investigate a kidnapping along side the FBI and a family friend who is considered a "seer". Bart tries to fight his attraction to this woman who's supposed skills remind him of the con artist who recently tried to scam Bart's family.
"Bart’s eyes moved back to the drawing. He could see what she had seen in her dream, but was it real? Was it the imaginings of an overactive dream? Or the visions from a woman who had a special gift. One that he had never believed in. The idea of his grandfather standing with him filled his mind. Search for truth, Bartholomew. Always search for truth."
Faith has always been a loner, trying to make ends meet while downplaying her "gifts" and abilities to avoid ridicule. She finds herself in over her head fighting her attraction to the handsome Bart and being overwhelmed by the emotional case.
"Leaning down, he kissed her gently. Moving back slightly, he smiled, thinking how much he loved her kisses. Deep, long, and passionate. Or just a touch of her intoxicating lips. One of promise or one of a quick goodbye. I thought I was falling…but I’ve already fallen in love with her. Even with everything swirling around them, he could not keep the smile off his face. When this is over, I’ll tell her…and hope to hell she feels the same."
Saints Protection & Investigation has fast become my favorite Maryann Jordan series.
I was surprised that Maryann chose a seer as the heroine for her newest Saints Protection novel, because usually her books are very down-to-earth, compared to other romance writers. And especially after the story of her last novella in this series (Revealing Love), this choice seemed to be a complete U-turn.
I'm usually not into anything paranormal/psychic, so I was a bit skeptical if this would work out for me. And it did, in a big way! I could very much relate to Bart in the beginning, not believing in Faith's "gift". But I could also understand why he gradually changes his mind and eventually trusts her. Luckily, this gift stays within reasonable proportions. In fact, it is more about female intuition and emotional perception, as opposed to men's objective fact-hunting, both being complimentary in Bart and Faith's quest to find the kidnapped kid. And don't we all experience this female intuition versus male rationalism in our lives every day?
It's very sweet to see how Bart and Faith fall for each other, slowly but surely, before they finally get tangled up in the sheets and in each other's life. No insta love, but a man and a woman discovering each other as the persons they are. And Bart being absolutely swoon worthy didn't hurt either... Romance at it's finest!
This is book four in the Saints Protection and Investigations series and this was Bart's story. Bart is an ex SEAL and he is the type of person that if you can't see it, or feel it than it can't be real so when he has to work with Faith, a woman with the gift of second sight let's just say he's not very happy. He truly believes she is out to scam the family, but after seeing how she works with everyone around her and how she feels and sees things then draws them he finally believes that she is truly gifted. As the two of them work together they develop feelings for each other and he starts to fall in love with her. Bart really wants what his parents and grandparents had, a love that will last and he has found that in Faith. This series gets better with every book and this one kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. This was a phenomenal story and a phenomenal series and I can't wait to read Monty's story.
Maryann Jordan has another winner on her hands! Engaging characters, interesting and well thought out plot, and just enough sex. ;) I only had a couple of issues: 1) HUGE cast, there are so many characters that sometimes I had trouble keeping track; 2) some minor head-hopping and POV shifts which had me backtracking a couple of times to make sure whose head I was in. Obviously, since I finished the book (in a day, lol), neither of these issues bothered me enough to make me quit reading. I enjoy Maryann's writing immensely, and I look forward to the next book!
Keep 'em coming, Maryann!
Note: I received an Advance Copy for review purposes.
Full disclosure : I am a fan of Maryann Jordan. Having said that, for some reason the love story of Bart and Faith the main characters didn't engage me as much as other characters in the Saints series so far. Probably its my own biases /preferences showing? On the other hand, the plot involving kidnapping and organized crime was gripping and I found myself guessing to the end. Loved the way Jordan did not overplay Faith's gift. Warning lots of red herrings!
Still a great read!
Bartholomew "Bart" Taggart a former NAVY SEAL is now one of the employees of the Saints Protection and Investigations. He was taught by his grandfather to believe only in facts, what he can see and touch. His family had a bad experience with a "seer" who tried unsuccessfully to swindle his grandmother. He has a bad taste in his mouth for these people and how they get their money.
He is assigned a kidnapping case for a person the team has worked with before. He hires the Saints to help along with Faith Romani who is a "seer" and whose grandmother knew the client. He wants her insight into this case but when Bart learns what her "gifts" are he treats her with disdain. He does what he can to discredit her because in his world there is no room for her talents, he just doesn't believe in them.
As the case goes forward and Faith is subjected to evil and corruption she draws what she sees and gives valuable insight and still Bart is reluctant to believe her. He is outraged when she hides sketches from him but why should she trust him? He treats her horribly.
The story was fast and full of twists and turns. Bart and Faith are drawn to each other and they really are a case of opposites attracting. She is a wonderful character who overcomes the dark side of being a "seer" and the ridicule it brings. It's a lonely existence and a sad one. She and Bart get off to a very rocky start but in the end she wins him over and he changes his mind about her. He is a ladies man and only out for fun until he meets Faith and then all bets are off.
I loved this story and the descriptive way she writes. I want to live in Jack's house! I want to visit the area that Ms. Jordan describes in such detail. Her books do not disappoint and this one is no different. I look forward to reading the next in the series. I can't seem to get enough of the drool worthy Saints and their stories.
>Book review - Seeing Love
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 3rd in the Saints Protection and Investigations series and ends in an HEA. In previous books, Bart is portrayed as being anti anything to do with the paranormal, especially people who can see or predict the future. He meets Faith and is immediately attracted to her. Faith is a seer who learns to hide her gift to protect herself from reactions such as Bart would have. She is called upon to use her gift to help find a little boy. Bart is asked to work with her. Boy, do they explode when Bart figures out her gift. He is actually cruel and desperately tries to undo the negativity spewed towards Faith for the rest of the book.
>Watching Faith come out of her shell as Bart learns to love her and her gifts is a beautiful thing. Add in the slight jealousy Bart feels over the FBI agent's attention to Faith and this story really works. Once again the spirituality of the saints is brought into play. The paranormal facet of the story is not overwhelming nor does it make the story seem silly.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 5 stars. The characters were developed thoroughly with the romance being a priority. Seeing previous characters is a plus also.
FANTASTIC STORY!
I just don't know how Maryann Jordan comes up with all of the unique storylines and plots she does.... But she manages it somehow!! 😊. This story was fantastic! The suspense and mystery, drama, twists and turns were non-stop.... they continued throughout the book! Bart and Faith were a delightful couple. They had a swoony, sexy, and sweet romance! As usual I loved that all the rest of the Saints Protection team and their wives were featured prominently in the book. We would all love to have such loyal, protective and supportive friends in our own lives. I also love, love, love, how Maryann gives us such great epilogues of the couple's future life in her books..... They are like the icing on the cake!!! I highly recommend this book.... You will enjoy it.... I did immensely!😁
