First book about Calisthenics I actually finished reading, despite doing the sport for well over a decade alongside my brother.

I gained a few new insights, so it was a GoodRead

A good book

Nearly half is about what's in your head and what you put in your stomach. Something worth thinking about. Never think that you outgrow the basics. Nice lowest to highest versions of those basics when it comes to body weight exercise, complete with routines. Good balance, something usable by all. Very quotable too.

I travel often for business and most business hotels have lousy fitness centers. I was looking for a book that provided a solid and sound bodyweight only exercise regimen. This book exceeded my expectations for great bodyweight exercises. The first half is the author's personal philosophy about living including nutrition, exercise and outlook. It's still a good read even if you only want some great workout ideas. The last half is all exercise with beginner, intermediate and advanced exercises and workouts. There are great ideas for all levels. For someone who lives out of a suitcase in Holiday Inns, it is a great reference book for getting and staying fit.

Pure excellence

I absolutely love this book. I have never read something that so fully encompasses everything I believe about what it means to be strong. Read this for the excellent training advice. Read it because Danny's style is a joy to experience. But most of all read it for hands down the most level headed and achievable life lesson you're likely to get.

Lacking

There is nothing new here. I saw enough shirtless photos of this guy being a badass after page 5 (it doesn't stop). I'd like my money back.

Great book. Solid advice. Concise. If you followed this advice you'd get very strong. I haven't.
