I read the second book in the set, Marked by the Vampire, ages ago. When I saw the four for 99c deal, I jumped on it. Even at regular price, Ms. Eden never fails to provide a high-octane ride full of action, suspense, steam, romance.

An excellent collection of paranormal romantic suspense novels. It's definitely a fun, compelling series. I enjoyed each and every book.

March 4, 2017Have the first 3 in the TBR but I bought this one for book 4 since buying that one alone is $3.99 at Amazon right now, while the bundle for all 4 is only 99 cents.

A great, well written, paranormal set, with exceptions.
A great boxed set of four paranormal couples joined in defeating corrupt, evil, paranormals out to take over the world. Their fight and the suspense, will keep you interested all the way through. Four stars because the female, Chloe, in Book 3 was written more like a spoiled, naive, rich woman at first, sometimes even like the dumb blond cliche at times (don't remember if she was a blond), but ended up putting others first and redeeming herself by the end. And the female in Book 4, Ella, was a centuries old Fae, but her dialog was too modern. It didn't ring true for me. Also I wondered if more characters should've had their stories told from this beginning set (like Lawerence) but so far I can't find any info on whether this set is linked to another one. It just seemed like there should've been more. I'll keep looking. ^~^ All in all, good book.

Absolutely engulfing and thourghly enjoyable reading pleasure from beginning to end!💖 Each book has characters who are struggling with so much danger coming at them ,yet as they meet the women who have their own battles they can't help but want to become protective which leads to things that they didn't think we're ever going to happen to them. You are absolutely going to love reading about them all!💖

Action-packed romance!
There was never a dull moment in this series. I loved all of the couples, as well as their individual and shared conflicts. Love scenes were plenty sexy without getting in the way of the overall plot.

Loved authors take on paranormals & world she created. Kept drama going whole time. Kept me interested with lots of twists. Definitely an author I will read again.

Highly recommend this series! While similar to most paranormal series, there are unique aspects and characters that kept me engaged and reading!

This was awesome! How many of us have thought about a hybrid of werewolf and vampire (and other beings)? The way Cynthia handled it was the best.

A must read!
This is a must read for anyone who enjoys reading stories about the supernatural. Not just vampires and werewolves, these books have it all. Sexy, hot, exciting, and emotional reading with all four books at once so you don't need to go looking for the next in the series. I thoroughly enjoyed thus saga!

I'd read most of the stories in this anthology when they were published individually, but I've always loved this author's brand of steam and angst, so I didn't even hesitate to one-click this when I saw they were available in a collection.
Everything but the last story was a re-read for me, but I nonetheless thoroughly enjoyed not only the stories themselves, but being able to read them all back-to-back in one continuous story arc.
As with most of her books, these stories are full of hot sex, angsty developments, and some dramatic action -- my favorite thing to read when I'm burned out on reading and need a happy distraction.

So this is love....
This is a great boxed set of paranormal romantic suspense. I'm so glad I was able to get it as a set because of the overarching storyline. It flows seamlessly and I didn't want it to end. The setting is in or near Seattle, where the FBI has a special paranormal unit with an Alcatraz-like prison for the worst of the paranormal, a place named Purgatory.
1. The Wolf Within. FBI agent Duncan McGuire becomes what he fears most when he is bitten by a rogue werewolf. Only one person keeps him sane, Holly Young, their physician. But Holly isn't what she appears to be.
2. Marked by the Vampire, my favorite. Criminal Psychologist Olivia Maddox, PhD, gains entry to Purgatory to study the "monsters" who ruthlessly kill innocents. Shane, an ancient vampire, is working undercover there to investigate what is going on behind the scenes. But someone has targeted Olivia, literally throwing her to the wolves, compelling Shane to break cover.
3. Charming the Beast. Chloe Quick, daughter of Senator Donald Quick, a staunch supporter of Purgatory, was bitten and turned into a werewolf when she was sixteen. Connor Marrok, an alpha werewolf hybrid and son of an insane alpha, discovers Chloe has a stalker, Keegan, another insane alpha with plans to take over Purgatory.
4. Deal with the Devil. Ella Lancaster is a vampire hybrid of power. Eric Pate, the head of the FBI's paranormal unit, isn't sure what else she is, but she's the only creature he's met who has wings.

Great Paranormal Bundle!
I enjoyed this series and love that all 4 books are bundled together for purchase. The stories center around the FBI's paranormal unit under the direction of Eric Pate and a team of operatives. Mystery, suspense, action and romance unfolds as the team deals with one destructive paranormal group after another as well as threats from within. A quick and fun read featuring vampires, werewolves, djinn and the fey.
