Smart short story, gracefully written, with quite a kick. My favorite kind of Science Fiction; glad to see someone's still writing 'em like this. The author gifted me with a nice little chapbook paperback edition, which I recommend if you can find a copy, but otherwise read it online for sure. I absolutely will read more by the author.

This review entirely voluntary and entirely my own honest opinion. The author did not even ask for a review, and is not personally known to me.

A little book with a powerful punch! I loved the premise and the characters were simultaneously strong and endearing. As others have said it is difficult to review without a spoiler alert. I will let the author describe for you and just say I loved the twist at the end. A good read!

I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway. It is a very small and short book. I'm not that big a fan of short stories. They always leave me wanting more. But if you enjoy quick reads, this is for you.
