Charles Band's long-running cult classic horror film series makes its way to the comic page! When a group of friends sets out to use the abandoned Bodega Bay Inn as a party spot, they find out first-hand that the bizarre local folklore is more truth than fantasy as an army of twisted autonomous Puppets have their way with the trespassing teens! The Puppets are back, and they're out for blood!
My favorite puppet the Torch unleashing on a homeless guy living in the secluded Bodega Inn. Flames ablaze. A bunch of dumb arse youngsters go to the Inn to party. A quick back story of the Puppets, Andre, Nazi to get everyone up to base level with the movies. Great illustration of Andre blowing out his head cheese sprayed against the wall. Tunneler another favorite tunnels through a kissing couple banging. Pinhead crushes a head. Puppets look awesome. First issue in volume 2 of this interesting and strangely comforting franchise.
Well, four deaths right off the bat! Haha. One in the prologue, and then three out of the seven new arrivals at the hotel. I wonder how many people we're going to go through in this series. I did a brief internet search, and was not able to determine if this was an ongoing or limited series. It would be interesting to see where this might go in an ongoing series.
We get exactly what we came for in this first issue. The Puppets are back, they aren't semi-good either. At least, I don't think so. They may be loyal to the offerings though, so that one chick might live. The others ... they have no problems taking them down. Mwahahaha! I am delighted that this is a book now. I'm so ready for more.
