JOE FRANKENSTEIN – Nolan
Endless extrapolation on the Frankenstein monster concept.
Prologue: “From the pieces of other men I was assembled.”
#1 – “And that makes you Frankenstein’s MONSTER?” – Joe
“I prefer ‘creation’.”
#2 – “Good. Fear will keep you alive.”
#3 – “It’s said that man is born with original sin. But what of a man that was NEVER born?”
#4 – Vampires, werewolf, mad scientist, femme fatale

Two of my favourite comic creators - writer Chuck Dixon and artist/writer Graham Nolan - team up to deliver two-fisted monster action. This is a great series and I really hope there is more to come.

Super fun and an easy read. Nolan thoroughly lays out the history of Joe Frankenstein and why he is helping the heir if his creator centuries later. It is a fun loose adventure. I only wish that Nolan had more tales to tell in this series.

The best thing about this is Graham Nolan's art. He and Dixon were obviously going for a Hellboy type of vibe, but is simultaneously not dark enough, or funny enough. Stuff happens, whilst the stakes never feel high enough... Nice nod to Cerebro tho'...

Loved it a lot. The art, concept and story telling. Love Nolan’s style. Wish there was more to come. Joe Frankenstein

I liked the plot about Frankenstein's Monster trying to protect the descendent of his maker. Sadly, it ends with a cliffhanger.
