Welcome to the exciting conclusion to the Badass: Jungle Fever Series.
Tate Rodgers has a motto: Select a problem. Work the problem. Move on to the next. The problem with that is, gravity cares nothing for logic. It points and laughs at his attempt to keep them in the air.
The Amazon is hungry for its next victim, and a dying plane carrying three people sure would make a tasty meal. As the jungle consumes them, they fight for their lives. But not everyone can escape its clutches. Mother Nature always demands a sacrifice.
Badass: Jungle Fever (Book 3) is the final novella of the sizzling Badass series from best-selling authors Leslie Johnson and Elle Dawson.
You may want to read Badass: The Complete Series first to better understand the history of Tate and Camille before beginning Jungle Fever.
Leslie is a California native but recently moved to Arizona after a stint in Arkansas. She enjoys travel and being with her grandchildren.
She is an avid reader of many genres, but prefers romances with travel or thriller themes. She loves writing about strong women and strong men because the world needs both!
Lost in the jungle after their plane crashed Camille, Tate and Janine face the fear of never being found alive. Thanks to Tate's survival skills they push forward in the jungle trying to make it home. After a horrible accident Janine loses her life which in return saves Tate and Camille. They both cling to each other in hope to be rescued. More danger comes their way when Camille's wounds become infected and she is facing death herself. Not willing to give up Tate keeps pushing their limits to find their own happy ending. The final book in the Jungle Fever Series continues to keep you on the edge. Amazingly written it molds drama, thriller and romance all in one in search to bring two hearts together.
Badass: Jungle Fever is the third book in Leslie Johnson and Elle Dawson's series. It is part of a series that should definitely be read in order as it takes off where the last book ended. Though there are two series, Badass and Badass: Jungle Fever; you will not be disappointed if you start from book one. This book is the finale of the Jungle fever series and it more than met my expectations.
Billionaire Heiress Camille Duffy has been kidnapped and is in the middle of the Amazon jungle. Tate Rodgers has always had feelings for Camille but they have kept it casual, since their lives never seemed to coincide. He is also too focused on his career to let himself be tied down. Tate has found her, but is now left with the dilemma of getting her out of the jungle alive. His escape with Camille is in a plane, but it has been shot at and now they are loosing fuel fast. Tate expertly maneuvers the the aircraft and is able to land, but now they must get through hundreds of miles of jungle before they can escape.
This story is filled with suspense, humor and explosive chemistry. I burned through the pages to find out what would happen next. As much as I wanted to see what would happen, I was sad to see this series end.
Although I'm glad Cam and Tate stopped playing that "catch you next lifetime" game this installment was probably my least favorite from the three. By the end of their story I feel that while some of Tate's past had been reviled, it was never explained why he had such trust issues with women and pegged them all to be liars . It was also never told how his meeting went and if he secured the contact. I just feel there were too many unanswered questions.
While it's great to forgive those who've wronged you I feel like it was given way too quickly to someone who pretended to love you, sold you out, then tortured you. I honestly couldn't even see the reasoning behind bringing Janine along with them as they made their escape.
There were also parts in this story that were just weird to me. That I really didn't understand why they were included. I understand that they were out in the jungle and had to work with what they had but... I don't know. It was awkward to read. I could almost feel awkward for Cami in those situations.
But it worked out and they were saved... Eventually, leading even those two to their happily ever after.
Leslie Johnson and Elle Dawson have definitely outdone themselves with Badass Jungle Fever.
I absolutely loved the conclusion to this series. I was hoping to see more of Tate and Cami at the end, but I'm still holding out for maybe a little novella in the future. This book however was full of action, drama, suspense, and some incredibly intense emotions that were riding high from the very beginning of the book. The intimate scenes between Tate and Cami were so intense and sensual as well as sexual that they definitely heated up my reading time. I couldn't put this down from the moment I started reading it and when it was over I was wanting more.
This is a fantastic series you won't want to miss.
The suspense in this final installment of Camille and Tate's story, had me on the edge of my seat wondering who is going to make it out of the bush alive? Will Tate change his manwhore ways and really settle down?
This was an amazing ending to Camille and Tate's epic journey of running through the jungle, it could not have been more perfect. My only complaint is that the series is done, Camille and Tate are one of my most favorite couples that Leslie Johnson has written about and I did not want their story to end.
Cant wait too see what Leslie Johnson has in store for us next
I received Badass Jungle Fever from the authors in exchange for an honest review. I love this series and hate to see it end. Tate and Camilke have a complicated relationship that started in the original Badass series. This series is full of suspense and proves how much they actually love each other after Camille gets kidnapped for a ransom from her rich family. Tate stops at nothing to save her but can they survive the Amazon and get out alive?
This is book 3 of this series and what a great finale it was! Go read the others and then come back and read this one!
I was captivated from the beginning to then end with this one! It was one of those books where you knew it was the finale and wanted to hurry and see how it ended but, I wanted to read slowly because I didn't want it to end.
I loved Tate and Camille's journey getting out of the jungle. Sad to see it end, but it ended perfectly!!

Find out this and more in this awesome read!!!
The final chapter in Badass Jungle Fever. Well written. Suspense filled chapters if Tate and Camille's crash landing in the depth of the jungle. Leslie Johnson and Elle Dawson write a story that keeps you in suspense and incorporate romance with sizzling chemistry between Tate and Camille.
The final installment of this amazing series. Throughout this series, we are taken from scary scenarios to horrific incidents that leave you on the edge of your sear. This is a story that will draw you in as deep as the jungle and not want to let you go. Through tears, pain and heartache, it's amazing from beginning to end.
wow Amazing read. This series ended perfectly for Camille and Tate. such a riveting series that just kept you turning the page in curiosity of wanting to know what happens next! Definitely a must and you really should start from the beginning because it literally picks up where it left off. But I guarantee it will be worth it
Well talk about a heart stopper this is it and then some when it comes to the final book of this series between Tate Rodgers and Camille Duffy. If you have read the other books in this series you know this book is a must read.
I received an advanced copy of this book for an honest review. This is book 3 of Badass: Jungle Fever by the author.
What a fantastic ending! Although some parts were gross there was an element of comic relief that made the story come to life. Tate and his survival skills are Camille's salvation. But will her brother, Link, find them in time? A great read
The conclusion of Jungle Fever starts where book 2 left off. Will Tate be able to land the plane in the jungle without killing himself or Cam? Will Link find Tate and Cam? Fanfreakintastic!! Absolutely loved the suspense! Great writing!
The best of the series! I praise the authors for their attention to details and research. Fabulous scenes in the jungle and very realistic. You will not be disappointed. Great ending. My copy was given for m honest review.
Loved all three books. Fabulous story line which had me hooked in straight away and I love a book that does that. Nothing better than a book you can't put down and have to finish reading in one sitting. Brilliant.
I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book was a great end to the series. There was a lot of drama and suspense. I loved that there was a HEA too. The snakes did give me the chills though (I hate snakes).
