Excellent
Just like the rest of the series so far, this book was extremely good. This series just grabs hold of you and you're lost in it's world. It's like you know each character, you read with batted breath to find out what's to happen next.
The characters have complexed relationships, that are often stressed, yet they care deeply for each other and are very protective of each other.
The writing is superb, the characters relatable, vulnerable, real types of people. They act, think and react just like people really would. The story is easy to follow, and one you won't want to end.
This is the best series I've read in a while, it's going to kill me to take a break from it, but I went over my book budget last month so I have to wait a bit before I get the next couple books. It's going to be pure torture..."sighs" and "grrrrrs".
I think this is a must read series for all you paranormal romance, YA, book lovers. If you have never read any paranormal romance books, but have thought to give them a try, this is a perfect place to start.

Another great book to this series!!
What can I say about this book. I loved it and the storyline flowed so well. I'm still in love with the characters though my mind is changing from some of them especially the one I'm feeling bad for lol. This book is basically what's happening in the present, though we do get a glimpse of Allie's past mixed with a little of Ben's. A lot of understanding, like the light bulb going off over your head, is kind of revealed in this book. Things are tying together and making sense. I'm still hooked on this series and am grateful. Now on to the next book in this series.

Intense
All books need to be read in order, and for me, they keep getting better. Novella number seven brings more depth and intensity between characters. There is a connection, a deep one, between Felicity and Cain, and where they come together, there is always this fear that something will break them apart. I look forward to reading the next one to see where this interesting and intriguing vampire romance will continue.

Cain is so patient and understanding that it’s ridiculous but I do however understand and I have now a better understanding for Ben and Allie as well as to why and how it molded them to be who they are. Loved this story

I can see that this book is excellent too.
This book is continuing to be as good as the rest of them. I love how the characters are evolving and it makes you care about them more and more.

This is the seventh novella in the Almost Human series by author Melanie Nowak and unlike some series they do need to be read in order.
Well this series started off good ... then it got really good ... and now it is GREAT! I seriously can't get enough of these. The characters are really evolving now within the story and there are so many possible ways this could go it has me on the edge of my seat. Vampire lovers need to start this series so that I can have someone to discuss these events with.
A very well earned 5 Stars and on to number 8!

This story follows on directly from the previous and you can't help but keep turning pages and getting the next book.
This story focuses mainly on Cain and Felicity's romance however there is somewhat of a triangle in the form of Sindy.
We also get insight into Alley's love story which had my heart melting.
Nowak manages the right amount of romance without being slushy with a great mix of action to keep it exciting.
