Joseph F. Parda was born in the garden spot of the world - Brooklyn, USA. A modern renaissance man, he has been artistically active as a writer, fanzine editor, and award winning filmmaker.

Parda has held traditional jobs as varied as soda jerk, short order cook, and management positions in multi-million dollar corporations.

His life-long fascination with horror, science fiction, exploitation and cult culture has now rendered him unfit for conventional employment. BEAVERS! is his first novel.

I was “caught” within TRAPS - in a good way. I was intrigued by the moonlight, the likeable main character, the “hill-bullies” and most of all ... by the supernatural elements.
When I reached the end I wanted the story to continue. It’s the perfect lunchtime read to sink your “fangs” into. A “howling” good-time, spooky story from the author of BEAVERS!

First Blood meets the country walk in American Werewolf in London. It's a fun fast paced read that I enjoyed.
