An exciting tale!
“Chains” is a fast-paced romance that is original and well-written. Screaming Mimi has been able to totally capture your emotions and pull them out one at a time so that you are feeling what the character is feeling; Justin’s frustration, Violet's greed, and selfishness and Dava’s sweetness, innocence, and desires. It was wonderful to see Justin grow into his emotions and realize that he deserves real love and happiness. Dava is a wonderful mother and a mature adult who is the perfect foil for Justin. This love story is intertwined with suspense and deception that rounds out this tale. I enjoyed this read and look forward to more from this author. Highly Recommended.

I loved it!!!! Loved the plot the characters and the few twists and turns that kept everything interesting. It shows that the right person can make an amazing difference in your life. There are always challanges, but together it can be overcome. I loved the feelings portraied. Loved the nice and steamy scenes as well. I know that everyone who reads this book will enjoy it like I did. I laughed so much with Justins full name, well done incorperating the Justice League!!!

First time read from this author and I really liked it, forget the maid and millionaire story this had depths on all levels, from deep love to just actually being kind, this is not a red hot love story more like a long last journey to happiness and I loved ever step of Justin and Dava's story.

This is the 2nd book I've read written by Screaming Mimi; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

This is a different sub-genre for Screaming Mimi, and she hit it out of the park with Chains.

There are three main things that has me going crazy about this book. First Dava is an amazingly strong woman that even when she has gone through so much in life from a young age, she is of a strong character and can stand up for herself against anyone. She is considerate, kind hard worker and student. If I had to use one word I would use Perseverance to describe Dava.

Second Justin is such an awesome dude, comics fan, hell yes, but the thing about this character so much is how everything that would have driven a regular man away from Dava are the things that makes him love her more. One word to describe Justin would be Kindness, it exudes him in every little thing he does for Dava, Elliot and even for the not nice at all characters in the book, I will leave this for you guys to find out on your own.

The third thing I love abjavascript:void(0)out this book is Elliot, Dava's son, this kid is amazeballs, so brilliant and talented and the way the author work with his character throughout the story is the thing that I love the most. The relationship this kid and his mother have is one a lot of you single mothers will get in a bit. You know the kind the one in which you are amazing pals, because face it you both grew up together, yet at the same time you know when to pull the reigns when they are getting out of hand, and still you get their respect. Yep that is the one, the real type, that does exist.

The storytelling quality of this book is extraordinary and it has really fast become my favorite of this author...don't tell her I have read it more than once already. No...off course I am not gonna tell you the plot...Go...read the blurb and trust me close your eyes, one-click I swear to God you will love it because is that good...don't worry when I see your amazing reviews I promise I will save all my I-TOLD-YOU-SO to myself...lol.

Congrats to Screaming Mimi a job exquisitely done.

Dava and Justin, I had to read it. Hello, Dava got a book and her dream man was the leading man!

I will say that the story is good, the underdog comes out on top and you have to love that. Dava is a strong female lead and she knows who she is and stands her ground. Much respect to her for that. Genuineness is what catches others attention, you can't try to be who the other wants you to be, like Justin's crazy ex. Dava stays true to herself and made an impact on her boss and oh what an impact!

Justin thought he had his life planned out but a hurricane known as Dava enters his reality and opens his eyes to the world. He finally starts to see that what he has is not what he wants nor what he deserves. The gamer has to play the game of his life to win the love of the woman he has fallen for. Little does he expect that she doesn't make the plays easy and there are no cheats to help him land the girl quicker. Its on her time and at her pace. His patience finally pays off.

Mimi has grown as a writer and it shows in Chains, much respect for that. I enjoyed reading Chains and am happy to see what was just convo among a group of women turn into reality.

Screaming Mimi has fastly become one of my favorite authors. Her books are fairly fast paced but not fast where you lose detail. She makes sure she fills you in throughout the book and fills that book with HAWTNESS!!

Justin is a sexy millionare that is such a teddy bear with a crazy girlfriend. He's so sweet, loving, and understanding that his girlfriend likes to take advantage of but at some point you will blow. When he does it changes his life, plus opens his mind to new and better things. A life he never knew could exist for him.

Dava is a single mom struggling to make it one way or the other. Although she is independent her family treats her like she's gonna fail at any moment. I love her but ugh her mom makes me wanna shake her but
I guess it's because she reminds me of my own mother. lol Thankfully Dava has such a sweet and understanding little man to help her through her life.

This book was awesome and HAWT... The characters were so awesome to follow and learn about. In every chapter you learn new things about each character whether it be their life, their, integrity, their strength etc.

I look forward to enjoying more of Screaming Mimis' books!!

It's a cute story with heat. I really didn't like Violet. What a horrible person she is, but she is desperate need of help. That caused me to be torn because I felt bad for her, but it still didn't excuse her behavior. Justin hasn't met someone who liked him for him and not because of his money. When he was at a lowest point that's when he had his enlightening moment. Dava has a lot lot to do with it. She's such a kind hearted caring woman. She could be cursing the world with the unlucky hand she's been dealt, but she steps up. Her son is her world, but Justin shows her what she's been missing. The interaction between Justin and Elliot is super cute. Two nerds of a pod. That was one of my favorite parts of the book. Life throws some road blocks in their way, but can their love see them through? I loved how the epilogue was written I thought it was a nice touch.

So in all the book was straight to the point. You can tell that there was an attraction between the boss (Wayne) and employee (Dava). Now up until he was injured they really had not been very acquainted. I really like Dava and her son Elliot. Their characters were written for them to be very sweet in nature and caring. Dava is also very feisty and will defend herself and the people she cares about.

The book is very fast pace, and kind of all over. They work together, they had an attraction, they date. Very quick development.

I really like the sex in this book, it was very detailed and that always gives the best visuals. Their romance was a building relationship not a lot of sexy time. She made us wait which worked because it gives the reader anticipation.

One of the things I love most about this author is the way she packs so much story into one book. I love it!

These characters were very real and dealt with typical problems, crazy exs, single parenting, overbearing parents, miscommunication. Then we had the dramatic parts kidnapping, teen pregnancy, drug addiction. But don't forget the love stories, the love between a man and a woman, a mothers love and the love created by accepting anothers child as your own. See all that in one book!!!!

This book made me laugh, brought me to tears and frustrated me till I wanted to throw my Kindle. Anything and everything you want in a story it is here! Can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Chains is a contemporary romance by Screaming Mimi. Justin is the millionaire who is in need of help, and Dava is his maid who reaches out to help him. I liked that Dava was a hard working real down to earth character with a real life issues that most of us can identify with. The story was fast paced, which made it a very easy read. This a a great afternoon read for a person who likes a contemporary read.

Chains is my first book I have read by Author Screaming Mimi, and I can guarantee it won't be my last. I came across Screaming Mimi on facebook and started following her page, I love to read and add new to me authors to my collections. When I seen her post about the books Chains on facebook, I decided to judge a book by the cover and order it. This cover was screaming to me for some reason and I am so glad it did. The book captured me quickly. I fell in love with the Character Dava, she is an amazing single mother who works her butt off to make a great life for herself and her son Elliot who is an amazing kid. The author made sure that you can connect with the characters and fall in love with them at ease. And what woman wouldn't want to meet a man like Justin in her life, He is a Millionair that knows how to care about others, it's hard not to fall in love with him. The only character I was not a fan of, but ended up feeling sorry for was Violet, which honestly you are not meant to like her. From beginning to end I was able to not only connect to the characters but I was able to fall into the trap of not putting the book down and finishing it in a day because it was just that good. My only regret is not finding and reading a Screaming Mimi book sooner.
