Kapic, Owen is being rediscovered by a variety of people today, including theologians, evangelical ministers, and laypeople interested in classic forms of spirituality. Kapic gifts readers with a useful entryway primer for those interested in diving into the works of the famous 17th-century English Puritan, John Owen. The book is an impressive demonstration of analytical and synthetical skill, as Kapic distills and weaves together various strands of Owen’s theology and methodology into a cohesive system of thought, while surveying and introducing audiences to a wide variety of the Puritan’s most famous writings.

This was a good book... a little abstract in areas... but so was Owen... a good contribution though and stands out as a noteworthy volume in the growing literature on Owen.

This was very good. Dense at points, but after all it is a summary of Owen...well worth the read, however.
