I by chance came across this book and decided to give it go. When I picked it up I wasn’t too sure what to expect. It started a little slow but once it got going it really got going! I was shocked to see that it had no reviews or ratings on here. So of course I must say at least that I enjoyed Mary and Jem’s story.
This book has romance, adventure, tragedy and it’s even a tad steamy at times ;)

Bodice ripper, and a rollicking yarn along the lines of Vanity Fair but more action than depth.
