What would you do if a chance at love slipped through your fingers?
Rose Clyde fell in love with a vampire—but before her love story could unfold, the captivating Kane Sullivan was snatched away from her. But the rebellious heartbreaker, Tommie Sullivan, with her bright green eyes, her sarcastic smile and her spellbinding intensity, is determined to sweep the heartbroken Rose off her feet now that Kane is out of the way.
The connection Rose feels for Kane is something she can’t explain…but there’s also something there between her and Tommie.
And what if Tommie’s kiss can help her forget Kane?
“Trusting Eternity” is the second volume in the Sullivan Vampires series. The Sullivan Vampires is a beautiful, romantic epic that follows the clan of Sullivan vampires and the women who love them. Advance praise has hailed this hallmark series as “Twilight for women who love women” and “a lesbian romance that takes vampires seriously! Two thumbs up!”
PLEASE NOTE: Each Sullivan Vampire book, until the very last one, ends on a cliffhanger. This is to add suspense to the story, but it's not every reader's cup of tea. If you dislike cliffhangers, please wait until all three Sullivan books are released before purchasing--thank you!

My name is Bridget Essex, and I write about werewolves, vampires and lady knights; about two strong, courageous women who fall deeply in love with one another, living love stories that transcend time. I'm married to the love of my life, author Natalie Vivien.
I'm best known for my Knight Legends series, stories about women knights, real world hi-jinks and love stories that are out of this world. My Sullivan Vampire novellas are a popular series lauded as "TWILIGHT for women who love women," and I have several other series and stand-alone novellas, and I'm always putting out something new. Two collections down in this series, and I still can't understand the MC. She has an Insta-love connection, which is whatever, but she also just doesn't make sense. She came to the hotel to work, yet does very little work all the while creating a dramatic girlfriend conflict. She also gets attacked not once but twice by different people, and yet still thinks she's safe there?
The entire storyline so far has happened in the span of days. You would think it would be longer just for introduction purposes alone, but also for the characters to get over part of their back stories. A longer time span would make things a little more plausible as well so the MC has time to acclimate to things. Right now it just seems like she's obsessing about one person so much as to throw everything else out the window. Hell with the consequences.
I'll probably keep reading the series a bit more to see if it can unwrap from its own baggage. Hopefully, the next one has a more depth. I know novellas don't really leave a lot of room for that, but I would at least like decent reasoning skills brought into play with Rose.

This well written tale continues the story of the Sullivan Vampires, focusing on the well developed main characters of Kane Sullivan and Rose, a human, who are inexplicably drawn to each other. After Kane's lost love, Melody, long presumed dead, returns, Rose feels lost. She admits she's interested in Tommie Sullivan, but not like she feels about Kane. One day when Rose and her best friend, Gwen, are returning with groceries, they're run off the road intentionally, and chased by two pursuers, who were in the other vehicle. Could Melody be behind the attack? Book 3 is definitely on my must-read list.
I really really enjoyed these books. It’s one of the last few I have to read by this author. I picked up Alpha, and haven’t put down my kindle since. I can’t wait until the next in the Sullivan series is released, it’s fantastic.
Idk why I did this to myself!?!?!? This book was great as always. I'm never disappointed with a Bridget Essex novel. I just hate that I have to wait, it isn't usually that big of a deal for me, but this series is so good!
⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3.25 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Easy read, I thought it was slightly better than the first one. I just really can’t get past how all of the events from this book and the last have happened over the span of barely a week, yet Rose, Kane, and Tommy are all totally, and apparently devastatingly, in love with each other. I get the whole soul mates thing if that’s where this is headed, but it still feels a bit rushed and unbelievable.
This series is the perfect mix of fantasy, suspense and romance. It's grabs you from page one. Vampires has never been so sexy and gorgeous as in this story. Life with the Sullivan's is not easy for Rose. She has found the love of her life but then something happens unexpectedly. She must confront the past and she is very confused by the women around her. Her life is in constant danger and she doesn't know what to do. My heart broke for Tommie. I felt her pain and I wish there was an another solution for her. There are so many twists and turns and it was so exciting that I have read the book without interruption. I am now completely addicted to this series. This is the kind of series you can re-read over and over again. I didn't want this to end. Yes, I'm truly mesmerized by this series and I'm eagerly waiting for what comes next. I highly recommend to read it. You'll get lost in the story.
Book two picks up directly where the first let off with Rose and Kane's budding relationship being dragged to the rocks and Rose now effectively homeless. That's when Tommie Sullivan comes to the rescue. Turns out she has some deep feelings for Rose and Rose is attracted to her, but her heart still calls for Kane. It's all pretty painful to read honestly, this love triangle. It can only lead to heartache for one or more people involved and Rose knows this. Rose ends up choosing Kane though and after many twists they finally end up together. All of this is while Vampires are gathering at the hotel for a great meeting and multiple attempts have been made on Rose's life, and then it turns out that Melody, Kane's back from the dead ex isn't Melody at all. This pushes is towards book three and a promising finale.
