How has Sidney Bristol not been in my authors I like pile until now? My first introduction was Chase, which happens to be book 3 in the Hot Rides series. The fast, intense pace had me hooked by the second page- I couldn’t put it down. Bristol’s writing style is on par with Julie Ann Walker and Suzanne Brockmann- two of my favorite authors.
With a blend of high suspense, hot rods and even hotter romance, this novel kicks it into another gear. Four and a half stars for story (though that may change once I’ve read the rest of the series) and four stars for editing, this middle of a series book gets an impressive four stars from me. You know it’s good when before the last page, I’d already bought Drive and Shift- the first two stories from Classic Rides. There’s a really good chance this book will be in someone’s Christmas stocking.
I received an advanced reader’s copy of Chase by Sidney Bristol from Kensington Books via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
