2 Timers: Love Sisters Series

Rate this book
Sista Love was a chart-topping girl group that had it all—fame, fortune and failure. After three years apart, Harmony, Melody, and Lyric are forced back together after the death of their mother. Their forced reunion rekindled past hurt, lies, and deceit, but it is new lies, backstabbing, and jealousy that will bring the sisters to the brink of destruction.

Harmony is piecing her life back together after her husband’s relapse back into addiction and his affair with her sister Melody. Now Harmony must decide if she will walk away or stand and fight. When she meets a handsome stranger, her decision will become that much harder.  Will she become a two-timer, or will she give up on her marriage for good?

Melody continues to throwing her money around to get what she wants. Still devastated by her ex-boyfriend’s blatant two-timing, Melody turns to her sister’s husband for comfort, but quickly realizes that he is only around because she is his constant supply of drugs and the fast life. With pressures mounting from all sides, Melody will have to figure out who she can trust. Will she risk it all to find love, or will her past come back to snatch her from her pedestal?

Lyric is haunted by a secret she’s kept from Harmony and finds out the hard way that turning back to drugs to run from her problems has landed her in the worst predicament of her life. Will Lyric let her addiction, once again, take her to the brink of death, or will she embrace sobriety once and for all?

I would've given this book 5 stars cause the story was so good, but the problem I had was the fact that the author kept referring back to the other book; alot! Not just a few sentences but paragraphs and pages! It was getting on my nerves cause I DIDN'T WANT TO REREAD THE 1ST BOOK! And that's what it felt like. I just started skipping through when she would do that. ***Note to Authors-It's still a book if it's under 200 pages*** But anyway, I look forward to reading the 3 book if there is one. It's gotta be cause this one was that good! Plus I want to read other books by her.

This book picked up where book 1 left off and brought the drama of course. This time I actually began to feel for all of the sisters and wanted them to get it together and be sisters again. Can't wait to see where the author goes next.

The drama factor was certainly kicked up a notch in book 2! I love how Amaleka McCall didn't overly dwell on the past book either. She gave just enough to explain why each character was feeling what they were feeling in that moment. The sisters are still flawed but I foresee something extremely beautiful coming out of all of this! 2 timers had everything! Love, hate, pain, and growth all throughout this book. I can't wait for book 3!!

Awesome Read!!
I like the way it picked up where it left off. I see Melody still a cold hearted bitch sleeping with your sister husband really but when karma come it comes hard. Be careful how you treat people. But I knew it was Gary. Poor Lyric I'm glad she getting the help that she need and I'm glad that Rebel is in her life he really love her. Harmony she has a forgiving heart but sometime you have to let people go like Ron if she take him back she crazy I'm team Blake. Waiting on part 3

2 Timers open up with more drama, deceit, and lies, and this time there was so unexpected twist and turns. The writer picked right up where the last book left off with The Love Sisters and all the issues that they were dealing with . Again the writer mesmerized me with the way she continue to weave this story together with the sisters and the supporting characters in this series .

The first page of 2 Timers picks right up where Veteran Author Amaleka McCall left part one . As the story opens you are pulled more into the world of the Love Sisters, and all their dysfunction that they have going in their lives. Part 2 of The Love Sisters Series exposed more jaw dropping secrets that will leave you with you mouth open, and thinking that I did not see that coming. As the sisters attempt to repair their relationships with each other something always surfaces that takes them back to square one in their relationship. In Part 2 of The Love Sisters Series, the sisters were more developed and you begin to know each one of them separately and understand their personalities to the fullest. This was again another exhilarating ride that I was not prepared to take when I open this book up.

This follow up was another emotional showpiece that tugged on all of my emotions, and heart strings, just when I thought that I this whole story figure out the writer thrown in a curve ball that knock me back to the drawing board. There were so many lies and secrets that were being held, and so much backstabbing and scheming against people that I could not guess what was next, and who could be trusted. The Love Sister definitely had their share of heartbreaks, sit backs, and shocks in this story . 2 Timers was so well woven together with Part 1 that it began to feel like someone was sitting right before you sharing their life with you instead of reading words written on paper. Amaleka McCall left the reader this time with a few cliffhangers, some oh no she did not do the readers like that , some I need more of these sisters to see where their world will end up after all the struggles that they have been thru .

With grace and skills Amaleka Mcall has delivered another 5 star read that will leave you want more and making you a fan for life .

The book could have been great but I almost stopped reading. The author kept repeating chapters from the last book. It seemed like every other chapter was the exact exert from the first book. I had to double check the book to make sure that it was indeed book 2. I’m fine with the author making important references but it was overkill. The book had the potential to be an amazing read even though I couldn’t stand most of the characters. Lyric kept doing stupid stuff and Melody wasn’t a good person. I felt bad for Harmony because she just wanted to live a peaceful life. I’ve ready other books from this author and really enjoyed them. Let’s hope she listens to the readers regarding this one.

I Love How This Story Is Progressing I Feel So Sorry For Lyric And All That Has Happened To Her. But I Hate That There Are So Many Flash Backs I Don’t Understand Why Authors Do That. In Order To Read Part Two We Should Have Read Part One So It’s Really No Need To Add Whole Chapters Of Book One To Book 2

This book repeated most of 1 Night Stand. Too much of same exact information. She could have combine both books and save money in publishing. Also Lyric's story of being kidnapped was too unrealistic. If she was using drugs that bad and abused , she would have been dead.

Too much unneeded information from the first book was written in this book...it was frustrating having to endure pages and pages of information you already read. If you didn't read the first book, you could read this one and you wouldn't be lost.

It took me a minute to finish this book. I had to take a minute to get a grip on a few things in the book. this book will take you through some life changes between sisters, but when it all comes down to it .FAMILY will be there no matter what.
