Alan Griswald stands out like a sore thumb in the Voodoo congregation. He's searching for a new kind of spiritual connection, and Priestess Rosalie's kindness tempts him to something much more carnal than he could have ever imagined.

Mambo Rosalie Hathaway is dedicated to her way of life, but yearns for a child. When her sudden one night stand with the billionaire results in a pregnancy, she's overjoyed. Mr. Griswald, a flawed Christian man, is less happy about the situation. However he has no intention of abandoning his new child, so he hopes to 'bring her to the light.'

Will they get what they both desire and learn to live together? Or will Alan's rich and powerful family shatter their happiness?

Hot, steamy and captivating... these are the words that first come to mind when you think of an Aaliyah Jackson book.

What sets her apart is her ability to weave a story that draws you in instantly while also keeping you entertained from the first page to the last.

A single mother, Aaliyah has always been an independent woman, and her sense of adventure shines through in every page - so does her love for bad boys. ;)

I read this book at the request of the author in exchange for an honest review. I found the book interesting because it was different than other books I have read in that the main character was a Voodoo Priestess. That was interesting to me because I am from Louisiana and Voodoo is still very present in my state. As I read the book, I found it a little slow at the beginning and I just wasn't sure how I was going to like it. I wound up enjoying the book and found myself really pulling for the couple. If you hang with the book, I think you will enjoy it.

Ok

It was just ok. Story line seemed unbelievable and far fetched. I didn't care for the couple or find any chemistry between them.
