Whoever said life was easy or fair? No one, that's who.
Life was perfect or as perfect as it can be when you're sixteen and your boyfriend is about to leave for college out of state. But really life was on track, we had a plan.
Colt had a full ride to Alabama for football, he was going to go pro one day. Everyone knew it. He'd been working his whole life for it, scouts drooled over him at Pee Wee football, for Pete's sake.
And me? I was getting out of my parent's house the day I graduated, headed to any college that would take me. But my plan was to go to Alabama with Colt.
But the best laid plans, right?
The stick turned blue, then there was the one with double lines, oh yeah the one with the plus sign and finally the one that screamed PREGNANT. Don't judge, I wanted to make sure. But that last one was the nail in my proverbial coffin.
Let's just say I wasn't expecting that.
Don't hate me. I made some choices, choices that I'd like to say I would have made differently if I'd known how it would all turn out, but we can't really go back now can we?
Enter Ford. He was the perfect son. The golden child. Smart, good looking, straight A student headed for law school. At least till I came along.
There are some that would say I destroyed both of their lives, but the truth is they saved mine. That's got to count for something, right?
All I can hope is that we find our happy ending. Fingers crossed, people.
~Hannah

Loved this series even though I read it out of order. This story explains how Ford ended up with Colt's ex-girlfriend, Hannah. Miss Coley's excellent writing skills had me cheering for this couple when I could have been rolling my eyes in disgust. Nicely Done!
Wow what incredibly unlikable h and a backstabbing brother...I can't believe even at the end they didn't regret their choices. It's even more unbelievable that Colt forgave them in the next book.
I was just gonna leave this review short and sweet but damn this book triggered me. So bare with me because this is gonna be a rant.
I recently realized secret baby trope is not my jam UNLESS the h tries to tell the baby daddy at least once. I mean I don't care if the h sends a damn carrier pigeon but she's gotta try to contact him. Obviously there are exceptions to my rules but not this time.
So we have HS sweethearts h and H's lil bro. She finds out she's preggo, dumps him without telling him so he can live his dream and go pro because SHE KNOWS HE WOULD STAY AND SUPPORT THEM. She plans to give the baby up for adoption, parents kick her out, H (baby daddy's older bro) finds out and offers her a place to live...he decides to keep it hidden from his brother as well, they fall in love..h changes her mind decides to keep the baby and H will play daddy...baby daddy aka as H's lil bro shows up and sees his 4 month old daughter and THAT'S HOW HE FINDS OUT!! AND THIS B*TCH TELLS HIM SHE WOULD MAKE THE SAME DECISION 🤯 that she did what was best for him. Bro says the same. Baby daddy is obviously distraught, heartbroken and betrayed and I AM LIVID!! At least Big bro felt super bad not enough to stop playing daddy to his brothers baby and lets be real baby daddy was spot on when he said you stole them from me, you took my daughter. I skimmed the next book and eventually baby girl finds out lil bro is her daddy but get this she says he's not her REAL DADDY big bro is her real daddy🤯
So ya this book was a huge f*cking miss for me and the only reason I picked it up was because of misinformation. I was under the impression baby daddy knew and took off and big bro stepped in...this was just awful and I felt so bad for baby daddy aka little bro.
This book pissed me off. Hanna and Ford are shitty people... characters. whatever. Really though, how do they just decide that Colt won't be the baby's dad? I'm dumb though and have started reading the next book in the series and they're even worse in that one! They told the kid that he's her uncle! You can't just do that. Colt is dumb too. I hate all these characters. I'm not sure I can make myself finish it.

This story was a quick read for me. Overall the story was cute, but I didn’t really feel the romance that much, maybe because of the age difference of the main characters (16/17 year old with a 21 year old). I’m also not sure if I agree with how Hannah finds out she’s pregnant and immediately breaks up with Cole, keeping it a secret from him for so long while turning to his older brother. I do like that Hannah was a strong female character. Despite getting pregnant, she finishes school, works hard and finds a way to make it work. I feel like the writing could have used more editing, as there were many grammar errors. I also found the frequent flashbacks to something that had previously happened to be a little confusing.
The author captures two young couples caught with life-changing decisions with terrible timing. Immature college bound athlete forced away from his newborn daughter by failing to demonstrate commitment. Pregnant teen kicked out of her cold parents' house drops the athlete, then bonds with the athlete's brother who takes her in and protects her. Mix this with parents forced to pick sides between their sons and a fierce friend.
All this pathos well told in a moving tale. Nice pace. Believable characters. Sweet.
when I finished reading this story it stayed in my mind for some time, showing to me the quality of the writing - the story was great there were just a few parts that did not seem to be quite right that has caused me to give the story only 4 stars. I liked the strength that Hannah shows in her decisions and how she goes about doing things. I liked Ford and his willingness to help her and how he stood with her even when others didn't.
I was pleasantly surprised wit this book. I went in thinking it was going to be a triangle and was very happy it was not. I wasn't a fan of all the lying that happens throughout and kept wondering when the other shoe would fall but if you forget that part what you get is a sweet love story.
I devoured this book. Loved, loved, loved Hannah!! She was such a strong young lady for her situation. And I seriously want a Ford he was such a ROCK for her. Her parents were pompous POS's!! I recommend this book!! Thanks Jamie Nibarger Ellis
This was a love story. There is multiple pov which is nice. I like that you got to experience most of the mc's pregnancy and it doesn't end right after the birth. I do feel bad for Colt. I will probably eventually read his story as well.
Not what I was expecting. Although it was ok, I felt a bit shortchanged. The book had a start of a story read (a build up to romance) rather than a complete novel to me; so I was disappointed when it ends. I like these two and would have loved to see more than what was given.
I loved this book from start to finish. It was such too read and I enjoyed it greatly. The author did a great job with this book! Looking forward to Colts book next!
I'm not giving this 5 stars, because I thought it was bogus how they handled Colt. I get that was a major part of the story line, but I just didn't dig it. Otherwise I really did enjoy the story.
Finding Ford is book 1 in The Anderson Brother Series. I really enjoyed Finding Ford and can't wait to continue with the series. I love Hannah and Ford.
Loved this book. Hannah living in her car at his garage & doesn't want to tell her ex boyfriend who's Ford's younger brother that she's pregnant with his baby. Love Ford for coming to help her.
This definitely read like 2016, the writing had some misses and format was clunky. But I enjoyed the plot, wish they told Colt instead of the almost 90% and then it just abruptly ending.
3.5 stars. A very abrupt ending. My issue is the fact that the next book isn't on the same two characters which means their pov's end. No epilogue or ending to their story at all.
I found a link for this book when scrolling through my Facebook, and it was on Kindle unlimited! Now to be honest most of my recent KU finds have been mediocre at best. I was pleasantly surprised to find this treasure :) it's not my normal book but I fell in love with the cover.
The story line was a little out there but that's what I loved about it. It was different that what I was expecting based on the book blurb. Overall loved it!
Goodness gracious!!! Wow!! loved this book. Hannah knew Colt did not love her. Although I think she did not tell Colt about the baby was a little to much to take but because she was young and naïve, I had to look past that. Loved how Ford took responsibility and protected, and cared for Hannah. Great story
