A classical kind of thriller, filled with old fashioned mystery. Alex French is a private investigator that gets pulled in a rather personal investigation - the one of Carl Franklin's unexpected murder. The author wonderfully develops the mystery and setting, and the main character who becomes the center-piece of the whole thriller and suspense. A very catchy and enjoyable reading, mostly for those loving an old fashioned mystery book.
Quite a mystery thriller! Did not see nor expect the major twist in the whole of its story line in chapter 10! Would be reading this one again!
This one is a nice read and a total page turner. I did not even expect it to be this nice to read. Going I am to read this private eye thriller again. Great find indeed I love it!
I love it, I thought it was just some book that I would surely pass by but it has proven itself worthy of my time.
More of private detective thrillers like this one please! This is my first time to read a book like this and I find it's story line as well as the concepts embellished all over it interesting and intriguing.
