Margaret Feinberg, I am simply in awe of your ability to share the Word and what the Lord continues to lay on your heart in spite of all you are going through. I love you so very much. I pray for you every single day. I honestly feel as I'm reading each of your books that I am growing closer to you with each book. FLOURISH is a wonderful devotional; I read through it quickly this first time, but the next time I read through it, I'll take my time and meditate more carefully on each devotion. I simply could not wait to read each day's devotion for a whole week in between readings!!! Each and every devotion spoke to my heart and soul and has caused me to desire to be all that God has for me.

This was such a good devotional for this year. I have had the thought of doing it again this coming year, but I'm not sure about that yet. I love that she gives you something to work towards and a prayer.

I finished this a bit early. It is a weekly devotion book beautifully written. The cover is a 5+, absolutely beautiful. I enjoyed it and will read again.

While the devotional readings were not incorrect, they were just a bit shallow for a weekly devotional. There was little to discuss with a friend, and the scripture references were very surface level. Bite-sized information for someone who wants an easy read and basic biblical concepts, but not a lot of meat there.

Margaret's activated prose along with her humble transparency have kept me engaged with this devotional all year long. Filled with keen insights, I alternately laughed out loud as I recognized my foibles and incorrect thinking, then shed tears at the beauty of the presented truth.

To really concentrate on each of the 52 devotionals, I read one several times during the week. I journaled, I colored, I reread them out loud to my husband, and I really worked on completing the action items and the sweet prayers at the end of the chapter. I was never disappointed at the depth of the study--they were always exactly perfect.

In addition, the book is absolutely beautiful with the linen-texture and gorgeous floral painting on the cover. This holiday season, I'm gifting four of these beauties. Can't wait to hear others' response! Thanks, Margaret, for such a beautiful, meaningful book!

"You are created to be planted in love, rooted in trust, grounded in wisdom, nourished by community, growing in grace, prepared for drought, protected from floods, budding in hope, blossoming in freedom, ripening with resilience, bursting with life, and cultivated by Christ in such a way that you and those around you thrive."

This was such an encouraging devotional! I really enjoyed how it was a weekly devotional with 52 challenges to read and focus on throughout the week. But the best part for me was that quite literally, every time I picked it up to read it was exactly what I was needing to read in that moment! If you're looking for a devotional to read throughout the new year, I recommend giving this one a try!

I picked up this book for daily devotions I could easily read before starting my day. The 52 entries can be read either daily for 52 days or one time a week for a full year. Along with the devotions there is a page to color each week. Flourish gives me a little boost so that I draw closer to God before I tackle the day. I look forward to picking up more books from this author.

This devotional is by following the best I have read. It is deep and it is heart connecting--you'll find it allows for connection and processing. I love the reflection and growth Margaret helps to facilitate... She's witty and full of wisdom. I think it's a book that each woman should own and revisit.

I liked the coloring pages, book design, and devotionals. Instead of doing one a week, I completed four each week.

Additionally, I felt the need to research the importance of a rest or sabbath day through one of the week’s activities. That opened up a new appreciation for slowing down and inspired some of my other readings.

I have never finished a devotional until this one. I did take a hiatus from it when I was transitioning out of college and it was lost in a box for a while but I am glad I picked it up when I did. A lot of what is talked about are things I needed to hear. Honestly, the truths in here are for everyone not just women that are trying to live a Godly life.

There are weeks that were incredibly challenging, along with some really good reminders about the life of faith. I recommend. Plus, it’s pretty, but that has never meant much to me. 😜 There are journaling pages at the end of each week.

I breezed through this in one go instead of following the 52 week suggestion and I'm considering going back to do the 52 weeks meditation. The devotions are short, sweet and beautifully written The meditation coloring pages are elegant, I just wish there were more.

I love a devotional book that is week or day portioned. I chose this one from a thrift store last year and then used the word 'Flourish' as my One Little Word of 2025. Both were just ok. The book is beautiful. I didn't use the coloring pages, but I might still.

Freeing words. My suggestion is to read it the way the author set it up. One chapter for one week throughout the year. Do it

Margaret's beautiful 52 week devotional touches my heart. She writes as if we are sitting down to tea and scones together. Margaret hands us scriptural passages that will teach us to "rooted in trust", "protected in floods", and "budding in hope" just to name a few. (These are the names of some of the monthly readings section)
My Mom and I are gardeners. The many references to a flourishing life were stated by Margaret using words such as; wilted, blossoms, harvest, bouquet immediately drew me to this book.
The coloring book pages at the end of each section provide a lasting reminder of the Scripture that has been studied in the month's reading.
Margaret gives hope and reminds us through scripture how we can learn to flourish in our own lives. Excellent read!

I absolutely could not put this book down. I don't know that I've read any other of Margaret's books but I definitely will now. This was the most uplifting and encouraging book I've read in a long time. Read it with a pen or highlighting in hand, you will resonate with so much and want to take tons of notes!

This devotional is divided into sections that mimic the growth of plants. If you love gardening, you will identify with Margaret's words. She bares her soul so that we might learn from her experiences. This is an honest and hopeful look at living a life that brings us closer to God and to those around us.

One of the better weekly devotionals that I have found. Each week there was a relatable story and a great message and prayer for the week. Besides anyone who self-describes herself as a "hot mess" is definitely an author that intrigues me. Well worth the 52 week investment.
