This is a wonderful devotional book for children with bright, colorful pictures and encouraging daily devotions. With 365 devotions that include a Bible verse, a short devotion, a Thought of the Day, and a prayer there is a lot of wisdom packed into this one little book. And of course anyone who loves VeggieTales will love the cute characters featured on each page.
There is also a few pages in the back of the book that have bible verses to memorize. The Bible verses in this book are presented from several different versions of the Bible so it might be a good idea to have the child's own Bible close at hand if you are particular about that. This is a great tool for helping your kids learn little life lessons and encouraging ways to keep God first in their daily lives. I have no doubt your child would enjoy this wonderful little book geared directly for them. :)

I was given the opportunity to review this updated version of the devotional featuring the popular VeggieTales characters. There are two versions of this book, and I chose to review the one geared toward girls (ages 4-7).
This is truly a delightful book. It is filled with brightly colored illustrations to accompany the 365 devotions. The book is structured so it can be started any time during the year, as it does not correspond to the traditional calendar. Each devotion features a Bible verse, a short devotion, a thought for the day, and a prayer. It is perfect for parents to read with their child at the start or end of each day.
Some of the topics included are honesty, forgiveness, and kindness. The end of the book features popular versus for the child to memorize. There is also a suggestion for the parents to help the child understand what the verse means. This book is a great way to get a child started on having a relationship with God and specifically establishing a daily plan for doing so. I would highly recommend this for people with young daughters.

The Veggietales Every Day with GOD 365 Daily for Girls. This is such a wonderful devotion that is packed with faith, and love. It is colorful and designed to grab your child’s attention right from the start. I so love the Thought of the Day and the Pray Today with each devotion. Veggietale characters are wonderfully illustrated throughout the book. The devotions are just the right length for your young child. This book would make a great gift. I received a copy of this book from FlyBy promotions for my honest review. 4 stars!

There are 365 devotionals to help children learn about God and to be kind to one another. On Day 2 the devotional is – You must encourage one another each day. Hebrews 3:13 CEV
Then it goes on to explain to children how every day we struggle and everyone struggles. Just a few words of encouragement can help someone through the day. I really like how it takes a bible verse and translates it in a way a child can understand.
It’s followed up with a thought of the day and a prayer. Both are ways for kids to take what the bible says and apply it to their daily lives. It helps them understand what the bible is saying.
Each day there is a new devotional for your child to learn about and implement into their day. There is a boys version and a girls version. I’ve only looked through the girls version but I can say from what I’ve seen this is something that I would be able to implement with Peyton into her daily life. It’s a great way to introduce the bible to her and help her practice it’s teachings into her daily life. Plus, the value they are teaching are ones I would like my daughter to practice. I want her to have manners and be helpful. I want her to be kind and considerate to others. These are values you will see being taught throughout the book.
