This is the story about Colt and Cade’s little sister, Caroline. This is a beautiful love story about her second chance with her high school sweetheart, Tucker. This was an emotional read at times. I loved this story and didn’t want it to end. If you can let all the errors go, you will enjoy reading this book.

Tucker Reed is the town bad boy, as his mother is addicted to drugs and doesn't take care of him. He's been offered a bet, to make good girl Caroline Hadley to go out with him, and he takes it so he can pay the bills. The problem is that he fell for her hard, and decides to join the military to be good enough for her. While he's serving, she shatters his heart. Now 6 years later, he's back in town, and Caroline is no longer the young girl in love. She believes he broke her heart for no reason, but even now, she still feels the strong pull to him. Tuck decides he can't live without her light in his darkness, and he's not giving up this time without a fight to make her his. Will they be able to get past all the past hurt to finally have a happily ever after?
I really LOVED this story. The character development is great, with awesome secondaries included. A fast paced, and well written storyline flows smoothly. I could feel the chemistry, first hand, through my kindle, which finally led to SMOKIN' sexy scene goodness. A few twists and turns kept my heart racing, and well placed humor gave me breathers from the heavy emotional feels. CANNOT WAIT to read more from Kelly Mooney, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Who doesn't love a second chance love story?

For Tuck, loving Caroline was easy. What wasn't easy was believing that he was the one for her. When he took a HS bet to bed the Sweetheart of Sugar Creek, he never expected to fall head over heels for her. They spent months together in secrecy with the help of a mutual friend. When Tuck heads to serve his country and leaves Caroline to pursue college and her dream, they make a promise to love each other forever. Thanks to a number of betrayals and misunderstandings, their love is shattered to a million pieces.
Fast forward 6 yrs, a surprise run in, and a push from a friend; Tuck and Caroline are thrown back into each others lives and forced to face their destruction.

What a great book about first true love and second chance love.
Tucker is the bad boy, every girls dream but every parents nightmare. He doesn't have a stand up name but to Caroline that doesn't matter. Caroline comes from money but she hates it. She's alway been intrigued by Tucker and now being a year away from college she wants to live on the wild side and what better way than with the trailer park boy Tucker. Tucker has always loved Caroline ' s innocents, he loved how when she looked at him she saw the real him, but when his mommy's problems makes him decide on a bet he never knew that his heart would be the one to win, but Tucker wants to be better for himself and Caroline, so going away to the military is the answer and they promise to be together when he gets back, but can they fight the obstacles that are in thier way? I truly loved this book I couldn't put it down.

I liked Tuck he would do anything for his woman even grow back his facial hair, "he glanced up, his chin resting on my tummy. “I’ll grow it back and then you can tell me what you prefer.” And then he was gone again." Tuck always has good comebacks:
“It’s kind of hard to take you seriously with your p***s in my face.”
I squatted down, opened her legs and fit between them. “Yeah , well I was hoping it would be somewhere else right now, so we’re even.”
I really liked this book.
