Born Bratva #4

The Cleaner

Rate this book
She may look like the typical soccer mom...she's anything but. She's a kick ass take no prisoners Born Bratva wife. To underestimate her is to make a mistake of lethal proportions.
Nikita
My father is one of the most dangerous men in the world. I have grown up in the shelter of his wing; protected from all that could come against me.
Unlike my brother and sister who have been immersed in organized crime from the day they were born, my eyes have been veiled, my ears have been covered, and my soul has been protected.
I have only known what the Pakhan has allowed me to have knowledge of. It is of utmost importance I’m kept in the dark about the heinous practices that go on in our line of work.
I am the single most trusted individual to the man who is not only the Pakhan, but my father. I am his Sovietnik, his councilor, his lawyer, so it’s imperative I’m not privy to the inner workings of crime that go on behind closed doors.
Until now…
Make no mistake…I am my father’s son!
Natasha
I’ve been cleaning up Alexander Glazov’s messes forever—it’s all I know. I get a front row seat to this family’s brand of crazy. There’s not a whole hell of a lot that shocks me anymore.
Until now…
The Pakhan has pulled the one man who is never supposed to be subjected to acts of crime; right into the middle of a shit storm.
Until now, Nikita and I have been able to keep things separate; he had his job, I had mine. Now…lines have been blurred.
I’m seeing a side of Nikita I never knew existed. He’s not just the educated Sovietnik to the ruthless Alexander Glazov; he’s smart, savvy, ruthless, determined, and lethal when need be.
It seems the Pakhan has tapped into a part of Nikita none of us knew existed until now. It also seems…Nikita Glazov is more like his father than any of us ever could have perceived.
Make no mistake…Nikita is his father’s son!

Suzanne Steele is an Amazon Bestselling Author and television host for a TV program in the Charlotte NC area. She focuses on volunteer work and is very heavily involved in giving back to her local community. The month of October will be spent focusing on breast cancer awareness.
Suzanne has a penchant for writing about dark characters with twisted behavioral patterns. If you're looking for the typical romance, this is probably not the author for you. Her characters are very alpha in nature and many times they operate under obsession for the object of their affection; rather than love. Though she does believe in happily ever afters, her characters many times have a bumpy ride getting there.
She also writes under the pseudonym Stormy Dawn Weathers for her writings that aren't so darkly laced with a true realism of shock and awe. Suzanne Steele does not believe in holding back when it comes to writing about how dark and depraved her characters are in the core of their primal natures.

5 Stars!

Another great read by Suzanne Steele, this is becoming my favourite series out of all of her books. I really didn't think the last book could be topped, but she did it. I adored Kodiak and Logan so much that I didn't think it was possible for another couple to replace them in my heart but they did!

Nikita was an amazing H, he was possessive, loving, and the only woman he ever thinks about and has ever been with is Natasha. Since childhood they have been best-friends and grown up to be lovers. His brand of crazy was not as intense as the Glazov's we have seen in the past. His father and Kodiak are more sadistic, Nikita was a bit more vanilla in a way but he was still pretty intense.

Natasha was the definition of a bad-ass. She was cool as a cucumber and always maintained a calm persona while working. She was passionate and just as possessive towards Nikita as he was to her. She had a bit of a jealous streak too which was fun to read.

Words cannot describe how excited I am for Oleg and Roksana. The glimpses we got in this book really got me excited. It looks like it may be a bit darker, because Oleg is one crazy mofo who is obsessed with Roksana. But I'm stoked nonetheless!

Where to start? Nikita has grown into an exact replica of his father, the Pahkan! I remember reading in Glazov about Nikita's birth and now he's a successful attorney! The sovietnik to the Pahkan!

In this fourth installment of Born Bratva there is a cop killer on the loose and the governor of the great state of Kentucky is desperate for Glazov's help. This story chronicles the search of the cop killer, Nikita's fiancé's, Natasha, expertise in autopsy and as a "see nothing hear nothing" medical examiner, and the power play between Natasha and Nikita.

I absolutely love this story! Nikita proves time and time again he is his father's son in the bedroom and in business! This book has a phenomenal story line and I appreciate the story staying in line with the theme of the series.

5+ stars!

Wow!! When I read a book and it keeps calling to me to pick it up when life gets in the way then it's a 5 star experience. This was the case with "The Cleaner". Action packed with sizzling sex and a back drop story of a family who love and control in equal measure. I didn't expect what I got because after reading countless Mafia style books previously I went into this expecting a formulaic tale. That is not what I encountered. There's a mystery within this tale and it's the Bratva's job to aid the Police investigation to find the culprit. Different yes; but reasons why to this unusual arrangement are clarified in an interesting way. Miss Steele does a stellar job with how she presented the mystery and the way the story unfolds. The reveal is who we expect but it's the many different aspects to the why that kept me gripped to the pages. A really entertaining story that I enjoyed. Awesome.

Pulse Pounding

Well once again this writer hits it of the park and pushes you off the ledge with a nail biter of a cliffhanger. This is such a well written story not to mention a very well thought out series. With this story you are guaranteed not a dull moment and to scream because you don't want it to end. This was done in true gangster fashion and was an very entertaining story.

This is the fourth book in the Born Bratva series. I absolutely love this series and the hot, alpha males in it. Suzanne Steele knows how to write a sexy, possessive hot as sin male and a strong woman who can bring him to his knees. Nikita Glazov is Alexander's oldest son and his Sovietnik (councilor and trusted adviser). He is a lawyer and his father is Pakhan (leader of the Bratva), his father keeps him away from the dark and illegal side of his business. Ever since he was a boy Nikita has been in love with Natasha and the two have been inseparable. When her father who was a dear friend of Alexander died he hook Natasha into the Glazov home and raised her with his own children. Natasha is now a forensics expert and Glazov's cleaner, she is the reason neither him or any of his people are in prison for murder. She loves Nikita very much but now that she is working for Glazov she doesn't want to mix business with pleasure. Nikita does not accept that, he is a lot like his father when it comes to the bedroom he is in control and he will make sure Natasha realizes that. The Governor asks for help from Glazov, there is a cop killer on the loose and he thinks it might be someone on the inside so he wants Natasha to oversee the crime scenes. I loved this book and I can't wait to read Roksana's book !

I love the Born Bratva series and I love the Glazov family. The stories aren't very elaborate or complicated but the relationships are very intense. I love the (twisted) passion Glazov and Kathleen have but after reading this book, Nikita and Natasha became my favorite couple. Perhaps because they were meant to be and have only been with each other but they seemed to have such an incredible close connection and share this unbreakable bond.

Ever since Natasha became an official cleaner for the Glazov family,s he's been trying to maintain a professional distance to the son of the Pakhan but he is not having it. Glazov himself pretty much orders the couple to move forward and get married - which all happens in part 2 of this series btw. This books starts off when Natasha has accepted their relationship again so there is no drama there. There is a cop killer on the loose and the couple is working together to locate the unsub.

Bratva's Quincy M.E.?

I guess the title dates me lol. I guess it's Quincy M E / Heart to Heart / McMillan and wife meats the sexy Bratva with a bit of BDSM thrown in. The sex is hot and so is the couple . We also get to touch base with several book boyfriends from Some of Suzanne's hottest books. The book has a good plot with a couple great twist , definitely enjoyable. The book is a successful blend of her old writing style and her newer writing style , making it more acceptable to a wider audience but still entertaining for those of us that enjoyed her more hardcore books. Enjoy!

I love the Born Bratva Series!! In fact, I just binge read all the Born Bratva books to get ready to read Diamond Days and discovered I neglected to leave a couple of reviews. I should be punished... The Cleaner is Nikita and Natasha's book and like all of Glazov and Kathleen's children, Nikita has a bit of a dominate streak, OK, a really BIG dominate streak. As usual Suzanne Steele blends the books together seamlessly with intertwining characters you either love or love to hate. I love the surprise at the end and look forward to reading more about this family. Thanks Suzanne!!

I though book 2 was my favourite now I have another book 3! Natasha and Nikita! Ohh boy two meant to be one! The 'pinky swear' pact they make as children is so sweet and pure, that in the world they grow up in they keep their pact is very cool. Born Bratva, true to the bone is their family, loyal and bloody. This is a real treat. Natasha's work for the Bratva, really amazing. Wow!

Cute but Deadly

That's how I see the h in my mind. That makes the descriptions of what she does even more sinister. Childhood sweethearts grow in love. A monogamous relationship in a world of crime...A sweet love story between criminals. This is Suzanne and that's what she writes.

Not my fave but still good

I enjoyed the drama between Nic and Natasha but I did not enjoy the police investigation aspect of the story. I felt like it distracted from the romantic story and also I didn't feel like it fit with the Bratva life. Just my opinion.

It's the fourth book of the series but it's the first one that I read. I'm not quite sure if I'm gonna check out the other books since this one didn't capture much of my interest.

Blood is thicker then water

I have followed the Bratva Series since the beginning it never disappoints. Suzanne really brings sadist to a whole other level if I say so myself. I can't wait for Roksana and Oleg with the snippet given I can only imagine the level of crazy we are up against. Nikita and Tasha were so different but you can understand the love and devotion they had for each other. After all they are Born Bratva that alone is another level of love, loyalty, and really brings the term Family.

All 3 stars for story and NATASHA
In almost every book I hate heroine and swoon over hero but this book reversed the curse.
This was a mysterious read with rainbows and unicorns! (With no dark element)
Now I understood why authors add nonsense angst cause this one had none.
And where was that Dark, broody, wonderful, hot Alpha male?
Instead I got a possessive kid (king Geoffrey from Game of Thrones whining and declaring himself A King ) pretending to be AN ALPHA!
OH WAIT!!!!! THE SEX WAS......so hilarious it wasn't even funny.
Overall a plain read.

At little boring really

Not as good as the first two and I found myself skimming. It was kind ignoring with no real conflicts between the main characters. Looking forward to Roksanna and Olegs book though. They seem to have the personalities to bring this series back.

My least favorite in the series. I was unenthusiastic about this couple so we will set that as a baseline for my rating. I appreciate an OTT alpha read but found this couple as hot as the /h's "soccer mom" haircut. Expected more from a bad a** Bratva cleaner.
