"Lips pressed firmly against his, and he was surprised to find himself being kissed, and not shyly, either. Ryan was kissing him like a starving man, like he had been waiting years for this, and didn’t want to hold back anymore. " Jay wasn’t sure what to expect when he placed an ad in the newspaper to get some help on the family ranch. He was just hoping to find someone to do the extra work that they had once his youngest brother moved away. The last thing he expected was to find love, but that’s exactly what he got with Ryan.

Noah Harris is a 28-year-old bisexual man currently single and living in a small apartment in New York.
Being a natural introvert with significant extrovert tendencies he expresses himself through the world of writing MM books, often with a darker, paranormal twist. His books are written from the heart of his deep, sensitive and mysterious, but playful and creative, wild spirit.

He believes in living a natural, healthy lifestyle and has embraced meditation as a way of clearing the 'noise' in his head and allowing his dark creativity to shine through in his books.
He is determined to reach out to as many readers, who he considers his 'friends', as he can through his unique personal touch and through building like-minded communities online. It is this personal touch, with his readers, that sets him apart from most other authors today.
This is the first book I've read by this author, and I was quite pleased with the story. Even though this is short, I really enjoyed the characters-both main and supporting. I thought both Jay and Ryan were sweet and they fit so well together.
To be honest, I think this book could be expanded into a much longer one-I know I for one would love to have more background for the characters and maybe a bit more conflict other that the main characters realizing their feelings for each other. But even though the story is not very long, it still made for a nice, quick read with a dose of heat.
I'm looking forward to reading more by this author, and am hoping to see more expanded works in the future.
Don't blink it is a very short read, short enough to be just an outline to a full novel. It had a good storyline which had me teetering between 'okay' and 'I liked it' but regardless, I do want to read something else by Mr. Harris. Lots of shifter novels to peruse and I have 'Diary of a Wolf' marked as a 'want to read'.
I have read many MM books, and cowboy stories have always been a weakness of mine. So I was excited when I found out that Noah Harris had written a short story about cowboys and couldn't wait to read.
I loved it! For such a short story it had impact! I loved the characters and how Jay and Ryan were brought together and how they deal with coming out to truly be with one another. They were so cute and amazing and I didn’t want it to end!
Would be great to see if the rest of Jay’s brothers get their own story ;-)
So if I shout load enough, do you think Noah Harris would write more of these stories?? Will wait and see because I would defiantly be buying them and more of his books!
5 stars from me and would certainly be recommending to others.

A sweet and developing romance between Jay and Ryan. I liked that the conflict was an acceptance of one another and the fear of what his brothers would think. No craziness. I would like to know more about Ryan and why he moved to such a small town.

I read this book on a 3 hour train journey down to Cardiff, I will be honest I was kind of expecting it to last me the full 3 hours it took me to get to Cardiff but it sadly didn't. I think about 1 hour into the journey I had this book completed.
I will be honest, I didn't enjoy this book as much I had expected to. There was a lot - in my own opinion - that could have been expanded on and made into a really good, interesting read. It felt like it was very short and choppy, no sooner would I really get into a paragraph and then it would be ending.
I don't think I will be continuing on with this series, but that doesn't mean I won't read anything else from this Author. I will read more from this author in the future and wish them all the best.
This is more of an outline than a book. The writing is choppy and reads like a laundry list of what the characters are going to do. It really needs to be fleshed out and the author needs to spend some more time working on their sentence structure and basic writing skills.
The story is cute but very low key. The characters are very soft spoken and the back ground does not paint a clear enough picture of their southern location. The story just leaves you needing more to make it feel complete.
Loved the story but it really should have been longer. So many of the potential dynamics were left unresolved. Having said that as a quick read its great. Jay was a brilliant lead but more could have been made of Ryan if Noah has the time. I would love to see the rest of he brothers stories told.
