This is a really good introduction to TRIZ. I knew nothing before and now I get it all. The book is well-structured and explains each concept clearly.

Audiobook read by Henrietta Meire. I learned about TRIZ within the past 1.5 years while researching learning and innovation. Based in the information in this book, the method should be much more common knowledge than it is. I've had this book on my to read list for a while so I was super excited when the audio became available on SCRIBD. I've been wanting an overview of the method to determine whether to dig in to official trainings and certification etc. That's what I typically use non fiction books for. Get a high level overview to determine if I should dig in. TRIZ is a method I will be digging into and this book did a great job outlining the basics. One could likely just read this book and do some of the recommended exercises and be able to apply TRIZ toward solving real problems in a relatively quick time, or use it to become familiar with the process because your organization has determined they will hire a TRIZ guide. Overall, if you are interested in design, innovation, or basic problem solving this book is a great place to start.

Always try to find out, first find out the problem existed but being ignored, then instead of complaining (like ly truong) always try to find out solutions.

Broadening my solution range will help me think out of the box, beat psychological inertia to think. Help me come out of comfort zone to discover new solutions, help my mind more flexible.

Joke storyteller makes full use of assumption and drives us into unexpected punchline.

The book gives a good understanding of the Triz framework, everything a person needs to start using it is there. The only week part on the book is the way it is structured, only around chapter 12 things really start to become clear, till there it's a bit confusing. Also some examples would really help make it clear on how to use the framework.
