This was ok. Even though logically there's got to be an age gape between them with Jaron hanging and going to college and Trevor being Coop's uncle, there is no attention brought to that aspect. For me this is a good thing as I am not a fan of big age differences.

I'm a little on the fence with Jaron and Trevor. Trevor is the one that took Jaron in (unknowingly) and Jaron runs from him more than once... it's just not mate behavior.. and it feels slightly disturbing to think the man responsible for putting you back in hell is your perfect match.

Now.. NHS.. since it can be a while between books.. I see this acronym and thinking, what? Thankfully they spell it out. Non Human Sanctuary. I bet I wasn't the only one to forget what it stood for. Not sure how to take the new big threat on the horizon seeing as they seem to know about the whole pack of shifters in and around Nehalem. I'd like to see Glenn get a mate and then perhaps getting this deep into the series I'd work towards closing it down. However, as with a few other looooong standing series that perhaps have gone longer than they should, I'd continue to read this as I wouldn't be able to help myself.

Another Alpha..I wonder how that's going to pan our. I really enjoyed this book. Jaron has experienced so much in his life. Turned unwillingly, he has to learn how to be a ahifter. Trevor, has been feeling guilty about his part in causing the pain Jaron experienced. Now they're separated from the bad guys, they have to learn how to forgive themselves and how to move on.
