Interview With The Author
What kind of stories do you enjoy writing?
My favorite stories are Mail Order Bride romance. I especially enjoy writing historical Western romance novellas and short stories.
Your books often contain an element of faith as well as romance and love. Is that important to you as a writer?
Yes. As an author, clean Christian western romance is my heart passion. I love being able to tell a story, be it an American mail order brides series, a Mail Order bride and babies tale, or a historical western romance novella, and at the same time bring a positive message of hope, faith and love to uplift readers.
Are all of your stories Clean reads?
Every story I write is clean and wholesome, and I find that language and sex free Mail Order Bride books are just as good as those that include such things. The main thing for me is always the story, and the characters. A great plot is what makes a story worth reading.
Where do your brides and their stories come from?
Mail Order Brides of the west, east or sometimes even foreign brides jump into my imagination every day, each telling their own special story! I have mail order brides of Texas, New York, even Liverpool, England. So many places, so many tales to tell. I get an idea for a book or a series and when I begin to write the stories often take on a life all of their own. Just like my readers, I am often on the edge of my seat eagerly waiting to find out what will happen next! I even have a few Mail Order Husbands cooking. :)
What would you like to say to your readers?
Just two short words. Thank you! A story only really comes alive in the hand of a reader. My readers are the reason I write, the reason I can tell my tales. Without them, well, there would be no story to tell. Every email I receive, every review that is left - every one of them means so much to me.
Why should a new reader pick up one of your books?
If you enjoy clean Christian Western romance and mail order bride romance free from smutty themes; if you love great romantic stories full of surprises; if you love delightful characters and happy endings, any Terri Grace book will be thoroughly enjoyable for you.
Constance and Seth had been married for 1 month when he left home to go look for gold on Rainbow Mountain. He was seperated from his wife for 9 months and she came to meet him with thier daughter. He had no idea she was pregnant. He left a treasure map torn in 7 pieces because he became a farmer instead of digging for gold. Looking forward to book 2 and the rest of the story.
Wonderful story about one man’s journey through adversity and loneliness to discover that’s God’s love and the love of his family are the true treasures of life, not the gold that he was determined to find.
I was provided an ebook copy of this book free in exchange for a review. All opinions are mine alone. This is the first book in a series and it is a great beginning. I was interested in the storyline for the entire series. This book is about Seth and his new wife Constance. I really enjoyed this "beginning" of a continuing story. The book is well written. The storyline is interesting and kept me reading beyond my well beyond my normal "bedtime". The book is clean....no swearing, no sex which is a big "plus". Since this sets the basis for the remainder of the series, it should be read first. I loved it. I know the other books in the series will be just as good and I'm looking forward to reading/finishing them all.
TRUE TREASURE IS FOUND IN THE HEART I enjoyed this beginning to a new series, Mail Order Brides of Rainbow Mountain. It starts with newlyweds Seth and Constance MacLeod and how circumstances set into motion his need to go westward in search of gold. The plot kept me captivated and was heartbreaking at the struggles they endured. The dialog includes letters between them as they are separated. This story is a set up for the series that is to follow with more couples finding their home and happiness at Rainbow Mountain.
An ebook was provided to me for a review. Seth and Constance MacLeod were just starting married life when Seth looses his job. It becomes apparent to Constance that Seth wants to go search for Gold. She hope he will return soon but months later he is still not home. She had not told Seth before he left that she was expecting because she didn't want him to think she was trying to stop him. Seth is gone long enough for the baby to be born and after reuniting with Constance in their new home, Seth realizes there are more important things than Gold.
I love a good historical love story and Terri Grace's are wonderful. I felt the anxiety of Constance as her husband goes in search of his destiny. What he discovers and how Constance deals with the separation kept me reading right to the end. Very much recommend this story. I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.
More Precious Than Gold by Terri Grace is a stand alone in the series Mail Order Brides of Rainbow Mountain book 1. This is a very good start to this series. How they struggle with the absence of each other and are stronger from it. I really enjoyed this story, on to the next. My free opinion. Thanks
