Hace unos años, Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo convocó a dibujantes y guionistas que aceptaron el desafío de narrar en cuadritos 35 de esas historias concretas. Esos trabajos, ahora reunidos en libro, formaron parte de una muestra organizada por la Biblioteca Nacional, que itineró por el país.

El libro Historietas x la Identidad fue concebido como una herramienta para buscar –y, ojalá, encontrar– a cada uno de los y las bebés nacidos/as durante el cautiverio de sus madres; apropiados ilegalmente, hoy son hombres y mujeres de entre 35 y 40 años y siguen privados de su identidad.

Horacio González

Horacio González was an Argentine teacher and essayist.
Italian descent through his maternal grandfather, born in Recanati, Marche. He graduated in sociology at the University of Buenos Aires in 1970. He got the doctorate of social sciences at the Brazilian University of São Paulo in 1992. He was a university teacher since 1968, with academic tenure at the University of Buenos Aires, the National University of Rosario and the Facultad Libre de Rosario. He was part of the Carta Abierta group, and he was the director of the National Library of the Argentine Republic, for the period from 2005 to 2015.
González tested positive for COVID-19 on 19 May 2021, and was admitted to the Sanatorium Güemes in Buenos Aires on that day. He died of the disease on 22 June 2021.

Antología de Historietas por la identidad coeditada entre Biblioteca Nacional Mariano Moreno y Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo, justo antes de que comenzara el vaciamiento sistemático de la Biblioteca a cargo de los mercenarios buitreros amarillos.
