If you are interested in learning about the training centers of UK special service soldiers during WWII, this is your book. There is a long list of locations and people mentioned, who were essential to the creation, continuation and innovation of these schools and training grounds. This book however only mentions actual missions and contribution of Canadian and American units/organizations. It also glaces over equipment and dress. Overall, a bit of a dry and clinical read.

Brilliant book can't fault it at all. Descriptive without being boring.

This book opens up the world of the commandos who where asked to do what seemed almost impossible.

No wonder that so few make it as the standards are exceptionally high and have to be for a reason.

I thought this book waz going to be boring but it wasn't the first chapter is 80 pages of pure genius. Buy read it keep it!!
