Hanging by a Thread: The Rebirth of Our Dying Constitution

Rate this book
The prophets of God have warned us that the Constitution of the United States of America would someday come to a breaking point and be left hanging by a thread. Has that day finally arrived?

Is there any hope that the Constitution will survive? Will America rise above its current downward track of financial, moral and societal failures?

Who is seeking the destruction of the Constitution and the United States? Why do they want to destroy this nation? Will they succeed?

Is God going to intervene in our precarious situation?

Did God and His angels intervene over 200 years ago in order to establish the American nation and the Constitution? What concrete evidence can be found of this heavenly intervention?

What have the prophets of God told us about the future destiny and fate of the Constitution and of the United States? How will this affect us, our friends and our families? How will this impact the rest of the world?

How do we keep the flames of faith and hope alive in our souls as we live in a world that seems to be disintegrating around us? What source of strength can we use?

How can we prepare ourselves for what is coming?

A Fascinating Perspective on the Long-Term Survival of Constitutional Principles

First, this isn't a partisan screed that denounces any particular group. Resoundingly targeted to Latter-Day Saints, the book offers valuable perspectives on the church's relationship to the political process, emphasizing that changes will be inclusive and embracing of all faiths.

I felt like there is some needless filler here, but my needless filler is someone else's "I never knew that" moment. The book stresses the value of individual decisions and wisely points out that change, when it comes, will be dependent on individual behaviors and not some kind of robotic group mind process.

I felt this book was very valuable to my sense of peace about the future of our country. We are in deep moral trouble and Skousen freely acknowledges all the challenges we face--but it is a book filled with hope rather than despair. The Lord is in charge so I don't really have to worry. just do my civic duty, teach my children correct principles, and hope I go before this all breaks loose!

Excellent knowledgeable writing . Very inspiring.

This book has helped me resolve several questions I personally have had. Give enlightenment to a grave subject that I was pondering over for a very long time.
