A new to me author and I enjoyed her writing style and this story. I’m not sure if its a stand alone read or beginning of a series. It does end completely, but the world created could go on to stand further stories and I’d enjoy reading them.
Poor Stacy, she’s shocked when she comes across a battle between werewolves and vampires. Well, who wouldn’t be, they belong in stories not out there on the street? She can’t deny what’s she’s seeing though, and that means she gets embroiled in a battle between two sides, one wanting to protect earth and save millions of lives, the other who are out for their own ends and don’t care who gets killed along the way.
Rafe is attracted to Stacy, and that shocks him. He’s been grieving his wife and child who were murdered, and hasn’t been interested in anyone since they were killed. Its not really the time either to be starting anything. He’s only here for a few days. never the less the attraction is strong on both sides and leads them to do things they wouldn’t usually, and brings out some very sensual but not over the top sex scenes. I like the others in the group too, and the connections between them. The renegades, they’d done some gruesome things in their quest for power. They’ve come back in time from the 23rd century too and are tampering with history, and that's why Rafe’s group needs to try to stop them. It brings them all into some real dangers, bloody battles, strange new and different supernatural groups.Stacey is hiding who she really is though, from past experience she knows that's best. She’s not the only one with secrets though, and when both come out there are some real shocks for everyone.
Its a fun read, not over complicated, but one that’s easy to just sit back and relax into. I liked the characters and the premise of time travel, and ensuring history stays the same. I’d be happy to read more books set around this time travel, keeping history stable theme. There’s certainly the potential for more from this story, it ends neatly but there are openings for further novels.
.Stars: Four, an enjoyable and easy to read story.

4 1/2 Stars. I must admit I was surprised by this book. I expected it to fall flat someway, meshing time travel, weres, and vampires would be uber tricky for an author to pull off; yet this was doing fantastically well. I was sucked into the story from the start and my interest never waned. Honestly I wanted it to keep going and felt rather sad to see Rafe and Stacy's story end. I am hopeful this story will continue and perhaps give us another glimpse of those two. I am eager to see Tala's story and quite curious if her love interest will change or not! The villains in this story were positively wonderfully evil, and somewhat mad but it worked well. There isn't a lot of sex, and not too explicit but you still feel the attraction between our leads and it all works to fully engross you in these characters stories.

Stacy is human and one night she finds herself at a dead body and with creepy men, she has no idea what to do, but then..... a man changes into a wolf, this must be a dream. Stacy and her friends stake vampires something she hides when she finds out she deals with vampires and werewolves.

Rafe feels a strong connection with S5acy, something that surprises him, since he just lost his wife and child, but he can't help it.

Rafe is not a hearts and roses romance man, he is blunt and can be brutally honest, “you don’t even know me, Stacy— don’t know what you’re asking for. I’ve seen and done things most people wouldn’t be able to live with. You wanna eff? I’m game. You want true love? Find yourself a nice, human boy.” I liked Stacy girl could be direct, “that’s why I didn’t bother. Besides, we have some unfinished business to settle. Which involves a trip to the pharmacy and a pack of Trojans.” She flashed a set of bedroom eyes at him, her lids half-closed. “I’m thinkin’ ribbed... extra large.” I enjoyed this book I really liked Rafe when he wasnt a moody Trudy.

Wolfen Time by Roxy Boroughs is a job well-done! First time reading this author and I am impressed. Ms. Boroughs did exceedingly well weaving together all the elements of her story. With time travel, vamps, and weres there is much to offer readers and you won’t be disappointed. The writing is amazing and the likeable characters draw you into this wonderfully crafted world. Definitely a must-read. I have a new go-to author right here!

Wozzers. This story had it all! Amazing plot, intriguing characters and was filled with so much emotion that at the end of the book I was left aching for more. I truly hope there will be follow up to this amazingly created world. It definitely has the makings to be a top notch series. From beginning to end this story had me hooked and a worthy read. Rafe and Stacy are a powerhouse couple to be reckoned with. It's a must read!

I was gifted/won this book at a book event YEARS ago and unfortunately it got lost in the shuffle for some time but something about it caught my ear earlier this week and I decided to finally see what was inside. this book was very action packed and fast paced right from page one and as a shorter book I like that it kept me interested and actually introduced the world well while not info dumping. I am not a big fan of the insta love and I found it wrapped up a little to quick. overall I enjoyed this book and I'm glad I finally gave it a go.
