My children tolerate Plutarch’s Lives. We like some more than others. Pyhrrus was particularly entertaining and memorable. Nicias was ok. Crassus had two main highlights, the section on Spartacus and the final battle scene. Glad we’ve read them, but I don’t think we’ll reread these lives.
