What is the weirdest thing that ever happened to you? In this anthology, writers answer this question without blinking. Think UFO's, ghosts, and psychic phenomena, for sure, but there are also tales involving celebrity encounters, unbelievable coincidences, monkey feces, and more. Some of these tales have never been told publicly. Others simply need to be told more often. This collection includes pieces by Erin Parker, Sean Beaudoin, Paula Bomer, Ben Loory, and more in an encouraging affirmation that life is far more strange and exciting than our text books would have us believe.

In Case We Die is "an anthology of the weird." Twenty-three authors have contributed true tales of life's eerie and unexplainable weirdnesses such as psychic happenings, celebrity encounters, unbelievable coincidences, extraterrestrial visits, conversations with the dead, spirit guides, and other experiences we consign to conversations around camp fires - or, more likely, bars. The writing is wry, vivid, expert. The authors - Ben Loory, Erin Parker, Sean Beaudoin, Paula Bomer, Ron Kolm, Meg Tuite, Sarah Sarai, and many others, woo readers into a suspension of disbelief or into believing. Either way, this is a great read and a perfect gift.

A fun collection of true stories of unexplained/weird/freaky experiences. A quick and engrossing read. I finished it in less than a day.
As you read along, your inner Scully may say "There HAS to be a logical explanation"... but your inner Mulder will just want to believe.

This book is a collection of shorts where the authors answer the question, “What’s the weirdest thing that has ever happened to you?” Some of the answers involve ghosts and UFO’s while others involve celebrity encounters and strange coincidences. Either way I found it to be a very entertaining book and I finished it in one day. It is a unique collection in my opinion, since not all the stories have a common theme like you see in other books of a similar nature. Each tale varies in size from one paragraph to a few pages and keeps the reader interested in knowing what the next answer will be. Some of the stories are supernatural in nature and provide a good “creeped out” feeling, while others made me laugh a little as I read them. Naturally I liked some more than others, but was overall intrigued by each one. Since it has so many different types of stories, you could recommend this book to virtually anyone....and I would.
