I really enjoyed this read. Most of the material was so beneficial from a biblical approach and personal standpoint when it comes to marriage, unconditional love. I took a few notes from the book too. I also listened to the audiobook version with the book version from time to time.
I really enjoyed this book! Highly recommend it. Has fantastic tips to a solid marriage. Definitely makes your think about ways to enrich your marriage. Its a look at yourself first and using agape love to serve your spouse. To placing their needs above yourself. Taking the selfless Jesus approach.
A great book, with some simplified ways to become a better husband. The way he writes is easy to understand and apply. It is a quick read, and it will challenge you.
Solid practical tips on marriage interwoven with wit and poignant stories. I will be keeping this to read again in future as the tips were great ideas to help a marriage grow stronger. I wouldn't recommend this book to a marriage inches away from failure as it felt a bit more like a smooth healing balm than open-heart surgery. Still, I love Swindoll and always find worthwhile gems in anything he writes. Thanks, Chuck, for sharing your heart and your marriage with us!
