The uncomplicated pleasure of their reunion, however, ends shortly after she offers him a ride. Finding a revolver on the floor of her van and discovering his stepsister's dead body in Risa's parents' garage don't encourage romance. Adam tells himself it's his sense of fairness, not his attraction to Risa, that leads him to help her discover who is framing her for the murder.
