O’Connor is the author of the Witch Haven mystery series, the Crypt Witch cozy mysteries, the Lorna Shadow ghost mysteries, the Holly Holmes baking mysteries, the Zee Town paranormal cozy series, and the Old Sarum mystery series, along with other titles available if you cast the right spell. She graduated from the Universities of Southampton and Reading, where she received degrees in Archaeology and Cognitive Evolution (both highly entertaining to take part in, but with the career options of a ground witch’s toe bone.)

This is a sad book.

Things are still happening, assignments not going like they should, the ghost hunters are still finding them and they are in trouble with the professors.

Read and enjoy.

This series is not grabbing my attention very well, I'm finding myself skipping pages just to get to the end.

This is another book in the Ghost Academy series. Alex has gotten his angel wings. The groups first job is to protect a woman who is part of a witness protection program.

Things go bad really soon after that. Charlie's brother is in trouble so Lauren and he go to try to fix that rather than staying on their job of protection. The very obnoxious ghost hunters from the previous book make their appearance again and two of the team are trapped. Theo is back with his on again/off again attempts to convert Lauren to their cause.

One of the professors in particular wants everyone to forget about their families and follow Ghost Academy orders without question or hesitation. Some of the things Lauren found out about the bad side of the Academy seem to be supported by what happens.

Further not everyone will even remain in the Academy, finding out that defying orders gets you kicked out of the group, no matter how much you have done for them and for others. Another really good book in the series.
