Offered to the Werewolves #2

Offered to the Werewolves, Part II: The Alpha

Rate this book
Every year Shadow Falls offers its young women to the werewolf shifters in exchange for the town's protection -- there is no refusal.

This is the second installment of Offered to the Werewolves.

Taken against her will, Ariana struggles with the undeniable emotions and physical pull drawing her to the alpha. It doesn't make sense that she should be having such strong feelings, so quickly. Ariana's own dominant vibes clash with Devin's and create an instant rift between them. She doesn't trust him or her heart and she's going to make sure she keeps her distance.

Although the alpha enjoys his smart-mouthed mate, he begins to question how he should go about taming her. He doesn't want to change her, but she needs to respect him and his desires at all times; he is her alpha after all. He's determined to earn both her heart and her submission.

This is Part II of the 5-part serial, Offered to the Werewolves - prepare for cliffhangers!

Review for Part 1-5, read together in one book...
I love reading about the supernatural and the different spins people put on them. This is my first book from this author. I was immediately interested in this book when they explained the offering. It was suspenseful and interesting and I wanted to find out what was going on!! Then when we found out what it was all about I was intrigued and wanting to see how it all played out. I liked the characters. Even though Liz is broken, both girls have a backbone and fight in them. I like Devin's character, of course he's the alpha. I love how Ari stood up to him. I would have liked to get more of their story from the book though. The book flipped between Ari's story and Liz's story. I'm normally not a fan of that. I'm also not a huge fan of sharing lovers but I think Liz's story will be ok. Her mates are awesome! I had a hard time distinguishing between Caleb and Dom's POV in this book. It was just confusing at times but I eventually figured it out. Other than that I thought the book was written well. I'm excited to read the next book.

Episode two is told from each of the girls povs. Two very different point of views. The girls don´t know why the werewolves took them yet, and until then everyone – even the wolfs – is in semi panic attack mode.

Ariana - that is the mate of the alpha – is going through a inner turmoil. She´s scared and wants to run – but a part of her want to run to the alpha. That scares her even more.
The scene between Ariana and her alpha is sizzling. Very hot.

Lizzie..... Lizzie´s part of the story I think I will leave secret, because it´s very different from anything I´ve ever read. It was exciting to hear about her past and I can´t wait to read more!

I received this series from the author in exchange for an honest review. In book one, I just had trouble following. The copy I was given did not have labels of who was the "I." It made it hard to figure out who the person was talking at times. I am not sure if it was editing in the copy or what. So I did not love the first one.
Book 2: This was so much better than the first. It flowed better and it was a great addition to the story.
Book 3: I loved this addition to the stories. I can definitely tell that the author was growing. This was well done and I hope I get a chance to read the next one.

OMG THIS STORY GOT INCREDIBLY INTERESTING!

I was intrigued by the first book in this series, but this second book has got me HOOKED!!!!! WOW did this story pick up speed in a hurry! It's really keeping me on my toes and just when you think this is similar to other stories, it twists and you weren't expecting things the way you thought. VERY INTERESTING AND CAN'T WAIT TO FIND OUT MORE! I received a ARC copy of this book for my review and I HIGHLY recommend it!

Still a good story

Although this is a story that is getting better, this could have totally been longer. I read it in less than 10 minutes. It's exciting, hot scene was crazy good and you are left with a bombshell and I MUST read the next section. I only hope it I s not as short as this one though.

2nd installment of wolf shifter short read books. This one had some dominance being shown and a pretty hot scene. It ended with some stuff that shows why she is the way she is and who she might be. I'd say this installment was a 4 1/2 read.

This series just keeps getting better and a little more complex with each new book. More characters keep coming back to light and have a more complicate role than previously thought. Really interesting story and well thought out.
