Torn Between a Goon and Gangsta 2 in love with two Men.
Nikki was torn between in Dre and Hassan best friend. Dre was Nikki boyfriend Hassan grew up together. By trade they was hustler who Rob banks. Dre was cheating on Nikki with her cousin. Hassan knew but he kept Dre secret because he didn't want Nikki to get . Nikki caught Dre and her cousin in the act. Refused to talk to Dre and break-up with him because she was hurt felt betrayed, disrespected, Mistrust. Meanwhile Hassan has been harboring feelings for his best friend girlfriend. He comfort her vulnerable time they end up making love in the kitchen he told her he loved her. Their friendship becoming complicated and her angry towards Dre makes it worse. Hassan is angry with Nikki because she chooses Dre over him even though he doesn't treat her right. Hassan start to resent Nikki and Dre relationship. Nikki,Dre,and Hassan devise a plan to a home invasion to rob this rich family Dre has been following awhile. Everything start out fine until the table are turned on the trio the father fight back Dre lose the gun struggles with the father. Hassan brother Careem bust in the house during invasion with was guns ready. Hassan jealous and rage ,hurt humiliation and turns on his crew. First he shoots Dre and empty the entire clip into him and shoot Nikki in the shoulders he thinks she died. Nikki escapes and now she a fugitive from the law . Nikki scared and alone she assumed Dre died. Meanwhile Hassan and Careem escape and his brother flip the script and turns the gun on Hassan to kill him and they struggle for the gun he ended up shooting his brother Careem in the face. Hassan escape with money that's when his problems began he feels guilty for shooting and killing Dre and shooting Nikki because he still in love with her he assumes they are died he can't get the shooting out of his head knowing Nikki out their alive somewhere. Nikki walking away from the traumatic scene hurt confused wondering why Hassan turned on her and Dre hiding in the alley trying desperately to figure out her next move she continued walking. Maceo driving down the street sees a woman in a mechanic outfit keep looking over shoulder panorama the cops going to catch her .She looks familiar to him he realized it his partner Dre girl he pulls over ask Nikki was she ok she looks at Macro suspiciously wondering who he was he sells guns and gets falsify documents for people who need to disappear he usually helps Dre get guns he use for his crimes. Nikki finally realize it Maceo he ask her what happened where Dre at she tells him Dre is shoot and killed by Hassan Macro is shocked to hear this coming Dre was his boy he felt obligated to help her . She wanted to get far way as possible he comes up with a idea for her to stay with his baby momma of his daughter Makayla . He takes Nikki to Quita house to lay low get a change of clothes until he get her the false paperwork to get her out of the country. Quita of course not feeling Nikki staying with her she is just rude and disrespectful toward her she assumes Macro is sleeping with Nikki at the time it hadn't happen yet. Marco just genuinely wanted to her he felt bad for what she was going thru. Meanwhile was founded at the scene and taken into custody and transfer to the hospital for critical condition of his gun shot injuries . Nikki is shocked to learn she a month pregnant and not sure who the father of her baby is she slept with Dre and Hassan. She has feelings with both men doesn't know Dre still alive. She interrogate by Quita want to know what Nikki doing with Maceo is feeling insecure and was trying to be nosy. Nikki not feeling this scene and still in shock Quita ask about her Dre she told her he was killed this lady was cold and didn't care Nikki left because she felt disrespected so she leaves. Meanwhile more trouble follows a notorious deadly loan shark is looking for the trio the father who family they robbed that went left owed a huge debt he got a loan from Lexter. He was going to file for bankruptcy he owed Lexter money he wanted the money back that trio stole from him. Maeco get Nikki a room at the same hotel she was at with Hassan and Dre previously

Great Read
Hassan wasn't the kind hearted dude from the beginning of part one. He was a snake who acted off of emotions. He betrayed Dre and Nikki but his own brother was trying to betray him and take his life. The love of money is the root of evil and Careem proved that. Hassan slipped because Dre was out for revenge along with Nikki and someone else was lurking as well but since Dre has gotten caught up. He may not ever get his revenge. Especially if Lexer find out where he is. Nikki just kept getting herself in a bind after everything went down between Her, Dre, and Hassan. Maceo tried to help her however there was another player in the game looking for her too and unbeknownst to Maceo it put him in danger. Lexer didn't have a conscience or heart when it comes to getting what he wanted and the way this ended. Proved that.

Part 2 of Torn Between a Goon and a Gangsta 2 was a good read/listen. I listened to it on Audible. Nikki, Dre and Hassan are still at it. But you can tell that they all feeling some type of way about which way their loyalty lies. They will learn the meaning of keep your friends close but your enemies closer.
After the attempted robbery goes bad everyone is going their separate ways while on the run. Find out if they are going to hook back up and become the happy family again or will jealousy, hate and resentment stand in the way. Take the ride and find out.

It Gets Better
This story gets better and better. Nikki must have 9 lives because she keeps skating by while everyone else gets got. I'm not one to judge but she's kind of hoeish and selfish. She had to know Lexor was coming for her yet still had Maceo involved in her mess. Her coochie is " to die for" forreal. It seems nobody in this story can be trusted. I'm left needing to seeing what else can hapoen. Is Hassan coming to the rescue because Dre can't. This story is action packed and full.of drama. Its a good ssries.

Im eating this series up but I do not like homie hopping Nikki she's all over the place !!! I mean Hassan, Dre and Nikki life was already chaotic but these men including Maceo put their lives in more danger all because of Nikki ? she's emotionally unstable, stubborn, impulsive and the list goes on like what's the prize ??

"Still Schemin" by author Jade Jones was another one of her good Urban Series that continues from Schemin' in which it was interesting read. I felt that "Still Schemin" was fast paced, full of action, secrets mainly dealing with tragedy that just kept on coming from many twist and turns. The novel is still dealing with these three friends...Nikki, Dre and Hassan. Now just who is alive or dead at this point? You will have to read to find this out. One thing is for sure... there will never be a dull moment in this read. When you think you have it all figured out ... Bam... this author has taken the reader on a different ride. This author as added some more characters to "Still Schemin" from Careem, Maceo, Quinta, Nadia to Lexer. All I will say is get read for a different ride that will prove to be even more interesting in this read. You must pick up "Still Schemin" to "Follow this tale as the money is stolen from hand to hand only to wind up back in the hands that it belonged to in the first place or does it really belong to that person?" This novel only left me only saying ...what...'To Be Continued' so I am like many other readers will be waiting for part III.

Still Schemin' by Jade Jones
Still Schemin is a good book. It's never disappointed and upset to me. The main characters are Dre, Nikki, Careem, Hassan, and Maceo. This book is dealing with a lot of emotion, hateful, lust, greedy and selfish.
Like:
I like the concept and vibe in this book. Each characters have their own issues and problem.
Dislike:
Money is a evil. Money can lose everything that you love. I would never choose the money over to my family or friends. That's happen to Nikki, Dre, Hassan and the rest of characters in this book. Lester is something else. He doesn't play when come to money.
Recommend:
Jade Jones did a good job. She is always on point and make her readers happy and laugh. She takes her time to writing in this book. I recommend to everyone get his or her copy because this book is a really good. I enjoyed reading this book because I can't stop laughing and yelling.

Talk about NINE lives...yes, just when you think it's lights out...(not gonna spoil it by calling names). I read this in les than 24 hrs, so believe me when I say it's a banger!! So intense...I'm on to book 3...and hoping this is the end because I can't take no more. I feel like I'm watching a movie that has me on the edge of my seat!!

This is the first time listening to anything written by Jade Jones and I must say that this book is full of drama. It is captivating and very entertaining. There was so much scheming going on that several parts had me laughing. What a cliffhanger, can't wait to see what book 3 has in store for us.

Once again Ms. Jade Did Not Disappoint, the story picked up right where it ended, I felt like I was on the roller coaster ride with all the characters, this story was amazing, every time I thought it was over, something new would surface, & yes there are new characters to the game.

Nikki, Hassan and Dre are still up to their same old tricks. What happens when you add in Maceo, Quita, Nadia and Lexer? Find out who is still Schemin who. I enjoyed this book, and didn't want it to end. I can't wait for part 3.
